So like- the Bad Guys have committed to giving Cross the childhood he never had. Picnics, holidays, birthday parties, zoos, aquariums, carnivals, rolling down hills, etc. Y'know, what normal kids that aren't put through royal guard training and have a functional family do.
But I feel like, Killer is the one to give Cross the teenage years he never had.
Cross walks in on Killer having a breakdown and just blasting emo music. Like- MCR, Fall Out Boy, Evanescence, Skillet, Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, etc. Y'know what I mean y'all get the vibe y'all know what I'm talkin about. Anyway- Cross is really concerned for Killer, but also a little confused because the music is very agressive and angry. But before Killer and Cross can get all feelsy and whatnot, Killer gets real hype because Cross doesn't know this kinda music and has no idea what punk or grunge or emo or rock or anything is and they're so excited because they get to talk about it and expose the good boy soldier man Cross to emo trash and they're sooo happy.
And then they have a day where they blast music and sing their nonexistent lungs out, doing makeup and nails and ripping and making and styling their own clothes and it's a whole thing and they both have such a good time and Cross loves it.
