Upon waking up, Alisa Kujou expected another day full of hard work, as is the case for every single day that passed while they're on this godforsaken island.
She understood a while back that she didn't have anyone to rely on but herself at this point. Kimishima only follows Suou's orders, Kuze cared more about his sister, Taniyama and Miyamae supported him, and Sarashina was too focused on keeping everyone in line.
Alisa didn't even feel like she can rely on her own sister. While Masha was as helpful and considerate as ever, she was also passive and incapable of making a solid decision when it came down to it.
If given the chance, Alisa had a gut feeling that Masha would choose to side with the majority of opinions than her own sister.
So when Chisaki asked her not to go anywhere after finishing her breakfast, Alisa was curious. When she tried to ask why, the former Kendo Club captain simply said that they needed to talk about something important.
And in no time at all, the silver-haired girl found herself in a situation that's akin to a suspect going through a hearing in a courthouse.
She was on one side of the lounge, while everyone else gathered together away from her. All of them had disappointed expressions on their faces for some reason, especially her older sister.
"Alya-chan... do you know why we called you here?" Chisaki asked, her voice strangely calm but also on edge, as though she could snap at any moment.
"No, not at all. But whatever it is, can you make it quick? I want to get to work already," Alisa huffed, placing her hand on her hip while tapping her foot impatiently.
Chisaki's eyebrow twitched in irritation, but she took a deep breath to calm herself.
"Alya-chan, be honest. Did you intentionally attack Kuze-kun yesterday?"
Narrowing her eyes at those words, Alisa turned towards Masachika, who stood by Chisaki's side with his left foot all bandaged up.
"Really? Crying about what happened to other people now? I thought you'd be more than man enough to handle your own problems, Kuze-kun."
"Masachika-sama didn't say anything. I did," Ayano raised her hand, making the silver-haired girl turn towards her instead. "I happened to be by the door when the incident took place and saw it by chance."
"Of course you did..." Alisa scoffed and looked away.
Immediately following after, Maria stepped forward with a grim look on her face.
"After asking Kuze-kun and doing a check-up on him earlier, he sustained a sprained ankle from what you did, Alya-chan. We're just fortunate that the damage wasn't that bad, and Kuze-kun should still be able to perform some basic tasks as long as he doesn't do anything crazy."
"Well, there you go. The important thing is that he's fine, right? The matter is solved," Alya pointed out without a care in the world.
Chisaki frowned, not liking the fact that Alya isn't seeing this situation for how serious it is.
"I don't think you understand the gravity of what you did, Alya-chan. Kuze-kun is the only man here. Aside from myself, he's the only one capable of doing most of the heavy work, especially the things that need a lot of lifting. Kuze-kun is someone who's indispensable and because of your actions, he'll be limited for a while."
"We need Kuze-kun for a lot of the important things we do, Alya-chan..." Masha added.
"More importantly, as of late..." Chisaki pinched the bridge of her nose. "You've been way too violent with your outbursts. First, you slapped Ayano-chan and now, you deliberately attacked Kuze-kun with the intention of harming him."
