-Chapter 4-
Section oneKylie's POV:
The night of January 27....
Location: Los Angeles, California, Earth prime.
Time: 11:30pm
(Right after the last post)...The moment I saw Bryce and Malia arguing back on that kitchen counter, I had completely forgotten or even bothered to care about the whole teleportation issue. The only thing on my mind was Malia and Bryce.
"Stay right here." Ruby demanded, "I'll go pull her away from him before things escalate"
"What?? No way I'm staying here, I'm going"
"Not with that crazy look in your eyes your not." She said strongly. "Are you her best friend or am I?"
"Ugh Ruby why does that even matter-"
"You are not fully yourself right now. You are angry plus considered about the whole teleportation shit that just happened. We don't need more drama, kylie. Stay here and wait for me to come back with Malia."
I didn't really like her proposition to stay and wait, but she was right. I wasn't in my right mind and I didn't want to cause any trouble. Teleportation issues or not.
"Fine." I gave in, "but you bring her back over here...away from him."
Ruby laughed mockingly at me and said "Toxic masculinity much?" as she walked away from me heading towards Malia and Bryce's direction.
As I saw Ruby talk to them I kept studying Bryce, the way his jaw would tighten whenever he would glance back at Malia every so often. Or how he would study Ruby up and down as if she was some object to be studied for."What the fuck did Malia even see in this guy??" I asked myself.
But I guess I didn't say it as quiet as I thought I did because someone behind me answered my question with,
"I ask myself that everyday kylie, everyday"It was Joshua. He looked at their direction too until he shifted his body towards me and continued talking, "today was supposed to be their anniversary, maybe that's why he barged in here. When he wasn't even invited."
"Wait, you didn't invite him?? I thought you did and that's why he was here-"
"Well of course not! Why would I invite that asshole to my party after what he did to our Maliki?" He said offended with my question. "No. I was kicking him out of my party when Malia came in and told me it was okay, asking me to leave her to talk to him."
"Why the hell would Malia do that when she clearly looks uncomfortable around him?" I asked now more upset than before.
Joshua then stared at me, looking at me as if reading me like a book. Trying to understand why I was so annoyed by this. Not a minute later he started to explain, "Bryce cheated on Malia with all of Hollywood...while Malia was back home in Canada....it happened months ago but Bryce never looked for her to even apologize after their breakup. Until now I guess, and I'm pretty sure Malia wants to finally get closure over all that happened because she never did."
Hearing Joshua tell me how much Bryce hurt Malia and the unforgivable things he did to her, made my ears get hotter and my anger turn into rage. How could someone do that to her? I thought to myself. Her? Out of all the people! Malia being the most perfect woman in the world and he just used and discarded her like if she was NOTHING.
