"I don't know why I let you keep dragging me to these races." Sofia shakes her head, walking behind Oscar as he walks towards his team tent. "Because Soph, you're a good friend, while all my other friends are racing." Oscar shrugs. "Theo and Rose are actually in Sochi watching their dads, but yeah. If I'm being honest I'd prefer to watch Ruby right now." The Canadian shrugs. "Now that is just pure hatred." Oscar shakes his head. "No, it's girl power," Sofia smirks.

"Wait here, I won't be long." The Australian boy tells the aspirating singer. "Okay, I'll just sit right here, on this bench." Sofia sarcastically says. "Yes amazing, don't go too far. I don't want to lose you. The girls would be angry with me. And your brother can be scary." Oscar adds. "Shawn is not scary." Sofia laughs. "Tell that to the messages of him threatening me." Oscar points to his phone before walking away.

"Hola espléndida." Franco's voice says from next to the girl. "Fuck you." Sofia grabs her chest as she gets scared. "And stop calling me that." She adds. "You didn't add me back on Instagram." The Argentinian boy brings up. "Yeah, because I didn't want to. It's a free world, buddy." Sofia forces a smile. "Did you see my comment on your post?" Franco wonders.

"No, I didn't know you commented." She lies looking down at the floor. "You're a good singer," Franco says, making Sofia side-eye him. "I listened to your songs by the way. You're a good singer." Franco nods. "Aspiring singer." Sofia sighs. "Well, you'll get there." Franco shrugs. "Hopefully, I just need something to sing about," Sofia tells him. "What about me?" Franco raises an eyebrow.

"What about you?" Sofia scrunches up her face. "I can be your muse." He suggests. "What, write a song about an annoying Argentinian boy. Who keeps pestering me?" Sofia sarcastically asks. "Yeah, because that would be a number one hit, wouldn't it?" Sofia nods quickly. "It would." Franco nods along with her. "I'm joking, it would be shit." Sofia shakes her head. "I think anything you sing would be a number-one hit with your voice." Franco flirts.

Sofia covered her face pretending to yawn when she was blushing like crazy. No one had actually flirted with her before, so this came as a shock. "Am I tiring you?" Franco raises his eyebrow. "No." Sofia smiles, shaking her head. "Are you cold? Your cheeks are red." Franco points out. "No, I'm warm." Sofia shakes her head without even thinking. "Ahhh, so you're just blushing," Franco smirks.

"No, I don't blush. Especially from annoying Argentinian boys." Sofia rolls her eyes. "I may be annoying, but I have good charm, no?" Franco folds his arms. "No, you don't." Sofia shakes her head. "You lie." Franco points at her. "No I don't lie, I always tell the truth." Sofia lies. "Sure." Franco nods. The Canadian just moves her eyes back to the floor not looking at the boy next to her. But she could feel his eyes burning holes into her face.

"You're staring," Sofia tells him. "Yes, I like to look at beautiful things," Franco says, trying to get the girl to crack, but it was hard. She has a wall up and the racer was finding it awfully hard to pull down. But he knew over time it would start to crumble away, so it didn't matter how long it would take. He would be in it for the long run. Anything to prove Amaury wrong and get that one hundred pesos.

"You're weird, you know that?" Sofia turns to look at him. "I've been told." Franco nods. "But then again, are you even human if you aren't a little bit weird?" He asks. "I guess that's true." Sofia nods, smiling slightly. "I mean what I said by the way. You're amazing at singing. Way better than your brother." He says. Sofia would've been rude to Franco and stuck up for her brother and said he was better, but she knew he didn't mean that in a rude way.

And Sofia would be lying if she said that didn't touch her heart. No one ever says that she's the better singer out of her and Shawn. It was always the older Mendes sibling. "Thank you, Franco." Sofia genuinely smiles, her nose twitching. "Wow? You actually know my name, I was beginning to think you didn't remember it." The Argentinian boy's eyes open wide. "I did, I just this second remembered it though." The Canadian nods.

"You wound me, espléndida." Franco places a hand over his chest. Sofia just glares at the boy. "You do. My heart is broken." Franco sniffles, as he pretends to wipe a tear away from his eye. "Oh, would you look at that? Oscar is back." Sofia gasps, pointing to the Australian who stands a couple of feet away from the two. "It was nice speaking to you, espléndida." Franco leans back on the bench. "Yeah." Sofia awkwardly nods grabbing her bag and walking to Oscar.

"I hate that dude, that was so awkward. He was just speaking to me. Did you see it? I was just sitting there in silence." Sofia shakes her head, wrapping an arm around Oscar's neck as they walk off. "Oh no, I saw you two speaking like five minutes ago, when I came back."
Oscar shakes his head. "So you left me speaking to him for five minutes!?" Sofia shouts. "Yes, I'm not going to interrupt." Oscar shrugs. "You should have! I can't stand that dude." Sofia complains.

"Your smile told me a different story." Oscar teases. "I wasn't smiling on purpose. I had to force it." The Mendes girl shakes her head. "Really? Because if you know me you know I pay a lot of attention to the small details Soph. And whe you actually smile your nose twitches, and your nose was twitching an awful lot." Oscar says, making Sofia go red. "Shut the fuck up." She mutters in embarrassment.

"I mean, you know I'm right as well. Why don't you give him a chance." Oscar wonders. "Because Theo said he was no good." The Canadian girl tells him. "Did she say that? Or did you just take that from the things she told you?" Oscar raises an eyebrow. "I hate how you always know everything." She points at him. "I'm just that cool." The boy deadpanned. "What did Theodora actually say?" Oscar asks. "She said he was very flirty, quite arrogant and witty." Sofia lists off the things their friend said.

"Don't listen to her, she's only saying that because that is what she hears." Oscar shakes his head. "Well, that means he has a reputation for acting that way. I can't let myself get involved with that." Sofia shakes her head. "I mean you do you. But Franco could be your one true love. You're just too scared to actually see him that way. And what happens when it's too late? You realise you do like him, but he's got a girlfriend? What are you going to do then?" Oscar brings up a good point.

"As I said a minute ago, shut the fuck up." Sofia crosses her arms. "You're only being rude because I'm right," Oscar says in a singing voice. "I'm going to call your hot ass mother and tell her, that her arrogant son is being a little douche." Sofia threatens. "Did you just call my mum hot?" Oscar scrunches his face up in disgust. "That's all you took from that?" Sofia raises an eyebrow. "And you calling me a douche, how American of you." He laughs.

"I'm Canadian you whore." Sofia gasps. "See you get more offended than I do." Oscar giggles. "Oscar, because it's rude, don't ever call me American again," Sofia states. "Girl calm down. I was just joking." Oscar pats her head. "Yeah well I wasn't, your mum is a Milf." Sofia smiles, patting Oscar before she runs away with him chasing after her. "I hate you!" He shouts. "Your mum doesn't!" Sofia shouts back, weaving between the other drivers.
