He looks up from the book as she rushes down the stairs. He'd finished the stack she'd given him hours ago, and had placed them back in their rightful place. He'd made it halfway through the romance section. He feels this pit in his chest (though there should be no such thing). Something similar used to happen when he fought with Rabbit. It was remorse. Something he hadn't felt in a long time.

"I'm sorry about earlier." He says as she walks softly down the stairs. "I wasn't trying to make you feel... bad."

"Well, I've got an apology too."

She reveals what she's been holding behind her back.

"I fixed up your outfit. And you've got your own room, if you want it."

He stands instantaneously, looking over the outfit, entirely black with the occasional red accents. He takes it from her hands and looks at the tattered and dirtied black suit currently on his person.

"We can also go shopping if you want something different-"

"It's perfect."

She looks up from the fixating wood grain of the hardwood below her feet. A large grin on her face.

"Really?"

"It's... it's better than anything I could ask for."

"I could also fix you up later? I know I got the rust off of you already but your design is a little out of date..." she looks up at him, just staring at her and she puts her hands up. "Or we don't have to change anything of course, I was just suggesting. You can stay just the way you are and I wouldn't-"

"Of course."

She stops rambling, and looks back up at him. She can't seem to meet his candy apple green eyes. Clearing her throat.

"Do you want me to show you your room?"

"That would be fantastic."

She smiles, walking up the stairs, The Spine following shortly behind her. He makes his way up the stairs slower than she does, it was a lot harder than he remembered to get up a flight of stairs.

She waits for him to get up the stairs. Smiling as he pauses in front of her.

"Close your eyes."

"Is that really necessary?"

"Yes, close your eyes."

He does as she asks, still carrying the new clothes she'd made for him. She takes his hand, and he moves along with her, when she pauses, he does. The sound of a door creaking open fills his ears, and she pulls him through a doorway.

"Okay." She whispers, letting go of his hand. "Open your eyes."

He does as she says, and sees a room filled with everyday human things, but it fills him with what he assumes is joy. There's a made bed with sheets and pillows, a nightstand, a desk pushed up against the wall. A small bookshelf beside it.

"Those are a couple non-fiction books I found in the depths of storage. I don't read a ton of it so if I find any more I can grab them for you."

She walks across the room to open another door.

"Your closet, where we can keep all the outfits we get you, or make you. It really depends on what you prefer."

She walks to the opposite side of the room, another door just beside one of the nightstands opens, to reveal a sink from where he stands.
