Chapter 9

It's been a week since Seungmin's confession and so far, nothing has changed that much. Well, except from the way Jisung has stuck by his side frequently. Before, he will only join for a little bit and then get back to their apartment and work on his music. But recently, he started hanging out with Seungmin and the rest as well. Somehow, they started to be clingy towards him. Except for Chan. He is already clingy before so Seungmin is used to it but the others are extra clingy. Specially the tsundere Minho-hyung.

"Innie, are you guys free this week? I just observed that you guys are somehow always here." Seungmin decided to open the topic towards Jeongin and Felix. For some reason, Jisung is not with them and that was the first time this week that the others were not able to join them.

Upon hearing his question, Jeongin and Felix exchange a few glances with each other before smiling awkwardly while trying to make it look genuine. Good thing Seungmin didn't think much about their reaction so he didn't really mind about the smile and he is not suspicious about it.

"Uhmm...yeah. We're kind of free. I mean we have a lot of free time so we were able hangout here more often." Felix explained.

"Oh...then that's good. Next week is our exam so we will surely be very busy and we might not have time to hangout at all so it's good that we have time now." Seungmin concluded and Jeongin breathe a sigh of relief. Seungmin's brain actually works differently from them and he actually come into a reasonable conclusion. Both of them were very amazed.

"Minnie, as you said, we will surely become busy next week, why not enjoy this week? We could you know, go out. Let's go camping this weekend to relax our minds before we had to fight into the battlefield called, exam!" Felix suggested and Jeongin likes the idea. Although they are not sure Seungmin will like it. Their examination will last for two days. It will happen on Thursday and Friday next week. If they go camping this Saturday and Sunday, they still have Monday until Wednesday for studying.

Seungmin think about it for awhile. He is weighing the pros and cons of this so called camping and he find it quite reasonable. He finds himself nodding his head. His expressions made Felix and Jeongin happy because they know that Seungmin will definitely agree.

Yeah, they are right. Seungmin really did agree. He even invited both of them to purchase some necessities that they might need during the trip. Jeongin and Felix immediately relay the message to their group chat and as expected, they are all excited.

Seungmin us excited as well. He is now dragging Felix and Jeongin from one store to another. He is very excited that he feels like jumping up and down. This is the first time he is going on a camping trip with his friends. Well, this is his first time having friends anyway so it's understandable for him.

He immediately called his mother after shopping. He informs her about it and although she is worried, she allowed him to go because she can hear the excitement in his voice and the glee on his every words. She doesn't have the heart to say no to that. She just reminded him to be very careful and to make sure to stick to his friends so he doesn't get lost or do something he can't handle alone.

"I am allowing you but safety first always. Baby, after your exams, I am hoping that you will introduce your friends to us. You father and sister are looking forward to it. I am too. Enjoy your weekend and be careful. Regarding the exam, as long as you passed it, I am happy for you. Just do what you can do and don't push yourself too much......."

His mother's words extends for atleast 200 more words before she realized and she reluctantly said goodbye. Seungmin laughs at this conversation after he hang up. His mother really worries so much. He is used to it. It's not nad actually. He appreciates the concerns and affection they always shows. It's better than not having anyone caring for you. Well, they all know their limits anyway and Seungmin is thankful for that.

The weekends came faster than anticipated and Seungmin can't stop himself from almost vibrating on his seat. They are now in a van owned by Chan's family. Seungmin is sitting in between Jisung and Minho. Felix and Jeongin keeps on glancing at him. They actually wants to sit beside Seungmin but the other two beat them into it. They can't hep but sigh. Jisung is serious about his mission of making Seungmin fall in love with him and the others wants to do the same. It's just that Jisung is on another level because Seungmin has a crush on him. Jeongin frowned upon remembering that fact. His serious expression didn't go unnoticed by Seungmin. He suddenly got worried.

"Innie, what's wrong?" Seungmin ask the maknae and the others suddenly turn their attention towards their two maknaes. It's Seungmin and Jeongin now. Their two maknaes. Felix had accepted it upon finding out that Seungmin is days younger than him. Well, they could be considered as three maknaes anyway.

"Innie, are feeling nauseous?" Chan asked. Also worried about their maknae.

"I'm fine. Not nauseous at all. I was just thinking about one of my activity that I had passed. I'm a little worried that it is not up to the teacher's standard. You know, grammar or whatever ."He lied smoothly. He can't possibly tell them the truth especially now that Seungmin is here. Maybe later.

"You should've shown me. It was the essay right? Don't worry! Out professor is not that strict with grammar. As long as it is understandable it will be fine." Seungmin coax him. He even left his seat between Minho and Jisung to sit between Jeongin and Felix. Felix finally have a bright look on his face. Jisung just shake his head. What a good actor. He will sure to applaud Jeongin later.

The journey took atleast two hours before they arrived to their destination. It was more beautiful than Seungmin expected. They decided to go camping on a camping ground that Felix and Jeongin used to go to every once in a while. It is amazing. The view is so dazzling that Seungmin wants to take a picture and frame it. He did just that. Except for putting it on a frame. Maybe he can do that after he got back home.

"Ahahhh! I want to paint it!" Hyunjin exclaimed.

"Hyunjinnie can paint?" Seungmin asked while the others are organizing their things. Chan and Minho are setting up the tent while Changbin and Jeongin are arranging their bags.

"Yes! He's so good at it too!" Felix boasted as if he is the one who can paint.

"Waahh. I wanna see some of your paintings!" Seungmin excitedly said and Hyunjin immediately hug him while encircling his arms around his waist.

Hyunjin then look back at where Jisung and Felix is sitting and smirked at them. The two just roll their eyes at him. Chan noticed this exchange and can't help but sigh at how petty his boyfriends are. Hopefully they won't pressure Seungmin.

After setting up everything, they are now sitting on a circle with a bonfire in between. They are laughing and just talking. Seungmin actually felt so happy. He is glad that he joined them on this trip.

"Um..guys, let's do this again next time." Seungmin shyly suggested and everyone immediately agrees. They will surely do this again. Maybe after exam. Who knows.
