[A hilarious scene for this chapter😂]
The next morning, Hyunjin and Yongbok were finally catching a break after all the teasing from the previous night. They thought they had escaped their friends' relentless teasing—until they entered the training grounds.
"Good morning, lovebirds!" Wooyoung called out dramatically the moment they stepped in. He was holding a large, handmade sign that read 'Cuddle Buddies Forever' in obnoxiously big, glittery letters.
Hyunjin immediately facepalmed, while Yongbok just sighed, muttering, "Of course."
"Oh, come on!" Seungmin chimed in, grinning mischievously as he waved a pair of matching pink scarves at them. "These are your official training outfits for the day. Wear them with pride!"
"I am not wearing that," Yongbok said flatly, but his protest only fueled the laughter from their friends.
"Oh, but you must!" Jisung piped up from across the training yard, dramatically wiping away fake tears. "Think of all the sacrifices we made to design these. Minho spent hours choosing the perfect shade of pink!"
Minho, who was clearly in on the joke, shrugged nonchalantly. "Hey, I have an eye for fashion."
Before they could protest any further, Wooyoung and Seungmin cornered Hyunjin and Yongbok, draping the scarves around their necks. "There! Now don't you look adorable?" Seungmin teased, backing away to admire his handiwork.
Hyunjin was blushing furiously, while Yongbok gave him a sidelong glance and muttered, "We are never living this down, are we?"
"Not a chance," Minho replied from behind them, smirking. "And we haven't even gotten to the best part yet."
"The best part?" Hyunjin asked nervously, sensing another prank in the works.
Seonghwa stepped forward, holding out a large, fluffy heart-shaped pillow. "The ultimate challenge! Whoever holds the pillow for the longest time without letting it fall while training wins."
Yongbok blinked, staring at the pillow in disbelief. "You're joking, right?"
Seonghwa shook his head with a completely serious expression. "Oh no, I'm dead serious. This is top-tier training material."
Jisung nodded enthusiastically. "It's all about balance, coordination, and teamwork! You two will have to work together to pass the test."
Yongbok exchanged a glance with Hyunjin, who seemed just as confused as he was. But there was no escaping the challenge now. "Fine," Yongbok said with a sigh, taking the ridiculous pillow. "Let's get this over with."
As they started training with the pillow held awkwardly between them, their friends burst into hysterics, offering "helpful" advice like, "Careful, don't squish the heart of love!" and "Don't let it fall, or your relationship is doomed!"
Hyunjin, struggling to keep a straight face, whispered to Yongbok, "This is the most embarrassing thing I've ever done."
Yongbok chuckled, shaking his head. "Just go with it. At least they're having fun."
The challenge became even more ridiculous when Wooyoung decided to up the ante by tossing soft foam balls at them while they trained, shouting, "Dodge, or the heart will break!"
By the end of it, Hyunjin and Yongbok were out of breath from both laughing and trying to keep the heart-shaped pillow from falling. As they finally completed the challenge, their friends gave them a round of applause, still giggling uncontrollably.
