”Love is like a wildfire that consumes the soul.”- Rumi

The next morning, Mimi and I woke up and looked at each other and decided to stay in until I left later in the afternoon. We took our showers and climbed back in the bed the other best thing about her room was her huge sixty five inch TV we ordered some breakfast sandwiches, donuts and coffee once the food arrived we dug in as we watched Dog the bounty hunter a super throw back but classic.
“ This is so nice I haven’t had a break like this in forever” Mimi said with a content sigh as she laid back among her plethora of silk pillows of various colors she took a bite of her sausage, egg and cheese on a toasted bagel with cream cheese. I agreed this was just what I needed as well. I took a bite of my double chocolate donut mmm chocolate was the best thing ever invented no one could tell me otherwise. A chime sounded from both our phones at the same time, making us giggle, and we reached for our phones at the same time. I has a text from Antonio telling me good morning and asking what time did I want him to come get me I smiled ad I texted him back telling good morning as well and five this afternoon was fine I Also told him I missed him before setting my phone back down and grabbing my coffee, I looked over too see Mimi smiling gently as she looked at her phone a light blush appeared on her cheeks.
“Are you alright?” I asked, gently poking her side she nodded.
“Aiden texted me good morning and asked if he could take me out to dinner tonight” she sounded excited but also a little hesitant as well “ I haven’t been on a date in a really long time” she tapped her fingers lightly on the bed as she stared at her phone trying to decide what to do I waited patiently on her to decide I wouldn’t tell her to go this needed to be her choice but if she asked for any advice I was right here for her. She sat her phone down and turned to me.
“what should I do?” she asked “ I want to say yes… I’m just a little nervous” she admitted. Looking down, I took her hands in mine.
“That’s okay” I told her she looked back up, meeting my gaze. “ You’re allowed to be nervous. You're allowed to feel, Aiden is one of the good guys, I promise, but if you're also not ready, then it’s okay to say no” I assured her. She nodded, thinking over what I said before she took a deep breath and smiled.
“I’m going to say yes” she sounded very sure, and I could hear the excitement in her voice “Will you help me get ready before you go?” she asked, pausing mid text.
“Of course, I got you girl” I gave her a big wink making her laugh this had turned into a very interesting and exciting way to start the day I got up to go into her walk into closet so I could get a head start on making Mimi even more fabulous for tonight.
