She saw Daneen and Mohid together for the first time at her reception, and she wouldn't deny they looked good with each other. Mohid seemed even more reserved, focused,d and relentless than ever. Maybe that was because of how he had to attend the wedding of his ex-fiance.
Yet that was really nice for Daneen who could be rest assured that her husband had moved on. However, she found his eyes becoming warm and understanding whenever he came across Daneen. He seemed possessive of her too and and Andaleeb was at least happy that her sister got a reasonable man who really didn't seem to take out his frustration on her on Daneen.
Andaleeb was really relaxed with regards to Daneen, and now seeing her attending her wedding, gave her puffs of happiness. After her mother, she was the only one whom she cared for.
Her attention then darted towards her husband who was standing at a corner, talking to a man she didn't recognize. He had his one hand shoved in his pants' pocket and there was an attractive smile playing over his lips as he spoke. He looked tall, muscled, strong, handsome and unapproachable. Matching her sky blue bridal dress with a navy blue three-piece suit, Masab looked breathtaking. Her heart fluttered at his sight and she felt something unusual in her every pore at the way he behaved.
This rough, tough, and dangerous man who was a hidden book and a faraway star for the whole world claimed to be in love with her. He didn't just say it; he went against all odds to make her a part of his life. He declined the whole world for her. Could life become any more fictional or fairytale-like than this?
She felt delicious tingles in her stomach at this realization. But the next moment, she shook her head. That was ridiculous. Why his attraction wasn't leaving her? Why she couldn't hate him with the same intensity as before anymore? Why her heart, body, mind, and soul; everything was still focused on him? Last night was a mistake but why this mistake felt fascinating for her again and again?
Oh God! She moved away from her hands and focused on the ring on her finger.
Daneen came near her, causing her to come out of her thoughts.
"You look lovely but I wish you wouldn't have looked this beautiful. I just can't see you accepting this all quietly, Andaleeb," she whispered, squeezing her hand.
Daneen looked worried for her. If she would tell her what she really did, she would hate her.
Andaleeb slightly smiled. "I don't have any other way."
"You can say no. You could have said no," Daneen urged her.
"It's not that easy, Dani. He would have chased me. It's a left-hand thing for him," she murmured half-heartedly, her gaze moving over to her husband, at the same time, Masab looked towards her, too, and their eyes met. He passed a dangerous smile at her. A smile that was knowing and confident but full of love. A firework of passion exploded, and at the same time, her words lost all the meaning.
