"Hey Narayan, bas vahan Adrika kuch ulta seedha na kar de!", Dhriti prayed as she joined her palms, looked at the ceiling. Her forehead had sweat beads because she was very tensed about Adrika right now. She always supported Ekansh's idea of living unmarried for his whole life. But from the day she has came to know about Adrika's feelings towards Ekansh, she can't stop herself from praying for the two to end up together.

[Hey Narayan, may Adrika doesn't do anything wrong there!]

She was walking here and there in the room with her phone clutched in her hands. Her steps hurried and the lines of tension were visible on her face. She saw the time, it was 9pm nearly. Suddenly, she heard the voice of the breaking down of a heavy object. She followed the voice and came towards the door of her balcony. She opened the door and stepped ahead. There, she saw a broken flower plot lying on the carpet. The soil was now split on the carpet and the flowers were lying near the flower pot.

She gasped and kept her hands on her mouth, she was shocked. Her eyes roamed here and there in the balcony. She gulped in horror. With slow and trembling steps, she took her steps ahead. "K...kon...kon hai?", she called out in a trembling voice.

[Wh...who...who is there?]

Just then, she heard a masculine giggle. She froze on her place. Her breath hitched and her heartbeat quickened. She gulped heavily and slowly turned back. Sweat beads appeared on her face till now. When she turned behind, she didn't saw anyone there. She looked here and there and quickly started walking towards her room. "Jai hanuman gyan gun sagar, jai kapis tihun lok ujagar", she muttered Hanuman Chalisa while her breath quicken with each step.

As she was about to cross the door, someone suddenly held her wrist and pulled her behind the door. She gasped in shock and horror and the moment she was behind the door, she tried to shout, "Bachao!!".

[Save me!!]

Just then, the person kept his hands on her mouth, stopping her from shouting. Her voice stuck in her throat the moment she saw the person. Her eyes widened more than before. She froze on her place, all breathless and dumbfounded. Those twinkling dark brown eyes, that masculine boxy smile, that smell of perfume, for a moment, Dhriti got lost in some other world.

"Mihir!", she whispered and Mihir took his hands back, his boxy smile still lightening his face. She came back from her dreamland and asked in shock, "What are you doing here?", her voice hurried and filled with urgency.

A mischievous glint sparkled in Mihir's eyes and he pulled her towards him by her waist. Her hands went and rested on his chest while she gasped. Mihir's hands went towards her hair locks. "Agar ek ladka...ek akeli ladki ke room me...itni raat ko aaye toh...iske peeche kya hi vajah ho sakti hai? Hmm?" he asked in a low, husky and seductive voice while playing with her hairs.

[If a boy...comes in the room of a girl...in late nights...then what could be the reason? Hmm?]

With a thought of him having his affect on her, Mihir's hand pulled her even more closer. Dhriti rolled her eyes and pushed him away. He gasped. "Arey! What is this behaviour, Riti?", he asked dramatically.

Dhriti glared at him and replied sternly, "Chup chap na, tameez se ghar lauto! Varna haddi vaddi tod di na, toh fir mat kehna ki langra kar diya tumhe!", her tone threatening with a hint of mockness and headed towards her bed.

[Silently go back to your home! Or else if I'll break your bones, than don't complain that I made you lame!]

Mihir gave her an offended look and followed her. He came in front of her, before she could reach her bed. His frown was clearly visible to Dhriti, but she cared less. "Yeh naainsaafi hai!", he protested in irritation. "At least give me one kiss!", he said in a pleading tone while Dhriti's eyes widened in shock. "You used to refuse in school life!", he said and came a little closer to Dhriti with a cute pout on his face, "Toh ab toh dedo ek kiss!". His tone pleading with a little urgency.
