TORIOLA
~^Money can't buy us happiness^~
Three days ago,
As Osina and Emeka's boys left me, I ran.
Ran out of the party because I couldn't take it anymore and I couldn't help it but cry.
I was confused.
Did I do the right thing by telling the truth?
Why must it be me he tried to rape?
Emeka had always found interest in bullying me. Him and Darasimi, the only girl in their group. I didn't know why, but ever since I got a scholarship at Springfield High in Jss one. They both made my life unbearable. They made me see school as hell just because I was 'unaccepted'
Just because I was a 'nobody'.
Ever since I made that deal with Rukky, things got better...
Just a little.
If he hadn't tried to rape me, I wouldn't be in this situation.
I'm sure Emeka would continue torturing me more than he used to because of what I did.
And I knew...
No one would save me..
No one would help me..
I couldn't even help myself..
I was scared.
Scared of what he will do to me.
Scared of him.
I burst into tears. Why me? I didn't have a chance against someone as strong and rich as him. I was a 'nobody'. My father was a 'nobody'. I didn't have as much money as him and he was going to ruin me.
I looked up from my legs and just then, I saw him.
My crush..
I've crushed on him since I first saw him. But he never noticed me... I was aware of his crush on Kosy, I knew about everything about him.
I liked him.
And I was okay with liking him from afar.
He just came out of the party and looked angry yet I couldn't help but admire him. He was lean but the attractive type of lean. He was tall, and his curly hair was neatly combed which made his chocolate skin pop out. He was handsome.
I watched as he opened the door of a car, probably his, and sat on the drivers seat and placed his head on the steering wheel. I could tell he was angry.
Without thinking, I walked closer to the car and watched him. His eyes were closed so I assumed he was sleeping and he looked so peaceful. His lips were pouted a little which made him look cute.
