Time flies so fast.

It felt like Monday was just yesterday, and now, suddenly, it's already Friday.

This means there are less than two months left until the annual music festival.

But the best thing about Fridays is that they only have one class in the morning.

Class ends early, at 10 a.m., and the students head home full of energy.

However, it's a different story for Leona.

Whether class ends early or late, it doesn't make much difference because she's the treasurer and has to accompany the equipment committee to buy supplies for the upcoming music festival.

Catrina, the assistant treasurer, is also joining, but they're in different groups since the committee has been split into two to make things easier.

"Make sure you have all the receipts. Don't forget to ask for the purchase receipts."

She reminded the committee members, ensuring they didn't overlook that important detail. After the shopping is done, they'll be audited to make sure the amount spent matches the receipts with the funds taken from the association's account.

"Today's our last day to buy everything we need, so make sure we don't miss anything. If I forget something, don't hesitate to remind me."

She added as they stepped into the mall.

They decided to do all the shopping at one place since the mall had everything they needed. Hardware stores, a supermarket, accessory shops, bookstores, kitchenware stores and basically everything.

Leona figured that sticking to one place would save them both time and energy.

Store by store, they checked off every item on their list.

They bought a huge pile of stuff, but luckily her team consisted of five people, including four guys to help carry things.

Once they had everything, they headed back to campus and stored the items in the hall's storage room.

"Wow! It's already 4 o'clock? I didn't even notice."

Leona exclaimed when she saw the time on her watch.

They had left for shopping around 10.30 that morning.

"Right? Time flies when you're busy."

Catrina chimed in, now standing beside her.

"No wonder I'm hungry. It's already 4."

Leona said, holding her stomach as it started to growl.

"Let's go grab something to eat."

She suggested as she headed toward her car.

"Ah, sorry. I've got to help my mom with grocery shopping today. I need to get home early. She'll be off work soon, and we're heading straight to the supermarket."

Catrina apologized for not being able to join Leona that day.

"Oh, no worries. You head home first. I'm fine. I have to go to the dance academy hall after eating anyway. Today's my first day of practice with Enigma."

"Oh, really? Alright, I'll head off. Take care. And if Ace tries to mess with you, just punch him in the face."

"Definitely." Leona laughed.

With that, their conversation ended, and they went their separate ways.

Leona got into her car and drove out of campus, heading downtown.
