After a long and tiring night at the club, Lexi woke up in her big cozy bed. She didn't remember much from last night, but she did remember meeting that Lucas boy, he was handsome, that Lexi couldn't deny, but he just wasn't Andrew! As Lexi straightened her body, she realized she wasn't feeling well at all. She was warm, also had a terrible pain in her legs and a headache. She certainly won't be able to go to work today.

She called her boss and took a few days off. She then called Pierson and Liv to come over because she needed a little help.Soon the two friends arrived in front of Lexi's house. With a spare key that Lexi had given them a while ago, they unlocked the door and went upstairs to her room. There they found her lying on the bed, with one hand resting on her forehead."Awww poor baby. You okay?"

Pierson asks her as Liv goes to prepare the medicine for Lexi to take."I've been better Pier." Lexi answered then sat up to drink the medicine. After taking the paracetamol, Lexi layed back down and wrapped herself in her blanket."Do you need anything else?" Liv asks her. Lexi answered with  no, but she really needed Andrew right now. She wished he would lay down next to her and hug her to make her feel at least a little better. Unaware, Lexi slowly fell into a deep sleep where she dreamed of her beloved...

After a few hours, Lexi woke up from her nap.
The time was 3:23pm. She looked around and realized she was alone. Liv and Pierson had already left. Lexi decided to make herself something to eat since she hadn't eaten all day. But the moment she got out of bed, her head felt dizzy and she would lose her balance. She lay back down and decided she would just stay hungry...

The hours passed and it was getting dark outside. Lexi was still lying in her bed staring at one point as she didn't have the strength to do anything else.Suddenly, she heard someone knocking on the front door. Lexi, with not a drop of strength left in her, managed to get out of bed, slowly approached the stairs and, carefully holding on to the banister, managed to go down them, during which time another knock was heard on the door.

When she opened the door, her eyes met those she had dreamed and longed to see for over a year now. His hands full of gifts, his eyes full of love only for her. And a smile, captivating and bewitching, that always made Lexi fall in love more and more."Andrew?" She whispered softly, her eyes already full of tears. "Oh god Lex" Andrew whispered softly, dropping everything to the ground and pulling his love into a warm hug.

The two sobbed in each other's arms, glad to be together again."Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" Lexi asked looking at him with teary eyes."I wanted to surprise you."Andrew suddenly felt Lexi trembling and holding on tightly to him.He also noticed that her face was quite pale. "Lex are you feeling ok? You're pale." Andrew asked her as he closed the door."No. I woke up with a fever this morning."

Andrew looked at her worriedly, seeing her in this state did not feel good to him. He picked her up in his arms and led her to the couch.
He laid her down on the pillow, then sat down next to her, placing her legs on his lap and covering them with a blanket. "Andrew don't worry I'll be fine." Lexi said caressing his cheek with the fingers of her hand."I'll make you something to eat." Andrew quickly got up from the sofa and went to the kitchen. In the fridge, he found the right ingredients to make the perfect chicken soup. As he whirled around in the kitchen, Lexi turned on the TV. She let herself watch a movie while she waited for Andrew to come with her soup.

Just the smell coming from the kitchen made her drool, she was so hungry. After a few minutes, Andrew appeared with a bowl of hot soup.
"Here you go love." he handed her the bowl and sat down next to her. Wrapped his and her legs with the blanket and started watching the movie. When Lexi was full, she put the empty bowl on the coffee table and leaned against Andrew's shoulder.

The feeling of being next to him again seemed unreal to her. All this time Lexi thought she would never see him again, there was still a small glimmer of hope left in her that they would meet again, but for Lexi the chances were slim. But everything is possible, you just have to have patience and hope.
