Months had passed, and while Lando and Emily had gotten closer, none of them had made a proper move on each other. While Emily was under the impression Lando was in Brazil getting ready for his next race, she was in LA, getting ready to go on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote her new album. 

The blonde was backstage, wearing a black skin-tight dress, a small black cardigan, and black chuky heels. Her long hair was tied into a ponytail with dark, yet flattering makeup on.

". . . .and please welcome our guest star, Emily Swift!"

Emily took a breath as she walked onto the stage, a smile on her face as the audience cheered for her. She smiled as she waved before hugging Jimmy and then sitting down in the chair opposite him. 

"Welcome back Emily!" Jimmy said as Emily smiled. 

"Thanks for having me," she said, a grin on her pretty face as she looked at Jimmy.

"So, brand new album coming," Jimmy said as the audience cheered as Emily smile.

"Yes," the blonde said smiling, "it's coming out in three days time." The audience cheered loudly as she smiled at them all.

"So, can you tell us anything about it?" Jimmy asked, "the name of it? Any features?"

"So, it's called Between Us," she said as she smiled, "and it's the longest album that I've taken to write."

"How do you mean?" Jimmy asked. 

"Usually my album were written in about three to four months," she said, "this one took me eight months to write. I have a four features on the album as well. Obviously Louis was one of them, one other is the incredibly talented Leigh-Anne Pinnock from Little Mix," she paused as the audience burst into applause, "another is the incredible Khalid and the final one is the iconic Post Malone."

Emily beamed as the audience burst into applause and cheered for her.

"Why did you choose Leigh-Anne, Khalid and Post Malone for your features?" 

"So, I am a massive fan of Little Mix, and I love all of the girls and I think they're all so incredibly talented don't get me wrong," the blonde said with a smile, "they're been so amazing to me over the years, but the song choice I had I felt suited Leigh's voice more. I reached out to her, sent her the demo of it and my plan and the next thing I know, she was in the studio with me and we were recording it."

"And how about Post Malone?' Jimmy asked as Emily smiled. 

"So, as the OG fans will know," the blonde said chuckling, "growing up I loved him, I still do honestly. I was obsessed with his song Congratulations for years and I would always make it known that he was a massive idol of mine. Then, I tweeted once saying I'd love for him to be included on a song of mine years ago and then he heard I was making an album, and he reached out and asked to be a feature on it which to me, was insane!"

"He asked to feature on your album?" Jimmy asked as Emily beamed and nodded. 

"Yeah!" she squealed as she smiled. "It was insane, and watching him work in the way he does was an honour. All the features I've got on my album are so incredible and I have nothing but love and respect for them and I'm so grateful they wanted to be on my album."

"And how about Khalid?"

"I asked him to be on my song because I think he is so talented and his voice is so unique, you know?" she asked as she smiled, "his voice and his songs are so beautiful, and the song I wrote was something that meant a lot to me personally, and I wanted it to be a duet with someone who makes you feel things through music, and he was the first person I thought of."
