37: a motherly talk

the day before she left for LA, alison was struggling trying to figure out what she wanted to do with chris. should she talk to him? no. he hurt her to much. she cant. even if she wanted to. besides what if they do make up? most of chris's fans still don't really like alison. it's not like they would be anything anyway. they were always doomed from the start.

thoughts like these ran through her mind as she was on the plane to the exact place that she had been dreading going back to.

"come on alison, the plane is about to land" madi muttered seeing the girls face.

"okay" alison said as she grabbed all her things.

the plane landed soon after.

the two girls were in the airport waiting for their bags when aliosn had an idea. grabbing her phone she dialed a number.

what's up?

I need help please, its really important it's about chris.

send me your hotel address I'll be there as soon as I can.

"you're lucky I was in LA anyway" taylor announced as she walked into alison's hotel room about an hour later.

"I know it was perfect" alison giggled

"so what's this important chris thing" taylor asked sitting down on the bed next the brunette.

luckly for her madi had to grab some things from her house so she had the hotel for herself.

alison handed taylor her phone showing the older women the text thread between the girls.

after a couple seconds taylor spoke up "wow, so um, why don't you want to talk to him? to me it seems like he really wants to talk to you"

"it just feels like he's messing with my head" alison muttered "does he really need to know the truth of what that girl said to finally realize he hurt me?"

"look I talked to madi last night, she told me that you've been miserable and abby told her that chris actually loves you, and he's just been trying to hide it, because he believed you hurt him but leaning the truth, he really hurt you." taylor explained

"are you sure he loves me? cause I don't think he would have gotten a girlfriend if he did" alison spoke rolling her eyes.

"maybe, but maybe he himself was just hurting" taylor said "maybe she was just a distraction to his true pain"

"look as someone who had to let the one she thought was going to last forever go recently, maybe you should hear him out. I loved joe and if I could have saved us I would have, don't give up on what could be, stop focusing on what could have been. make it happen." taylor told her

alison thought about what she said. maybe she was right. "joe wasn't your fault you know that right taylor?"

"I know it just hurts still." taylor honestly replied, tears in her eyes

"you know how I decided to date one of the worse men ever this year so I could try and mask the pain of joe?"

"yeah?"

taylor just looked at her as she realized

"oh." alison sighed

"if you don't think this is as right as I do, think about it for while and focus on tour like I have." taylor reasured

"but people can tell I've been doing this with a broken heart" alison said putting her hands on her face "they think im a crybaby"

"you don't think people think I'm a crybaby? people think I'm the heartbreaker" taylor muttered "what I'm saying is I know the feeling, its not fun, but what you had with chris was really special. you were so happy with him. remember when you would call me every night talking about how much he made you so happy?" taylor asked as alison recalled back on those memories

"thank you for everything. really taylor. It means the world that you wanted to listen to what I had to say." alison told her tears in her eyes

"you're welcome, you've helped me to" taylor said giving alison a big hug

"I love you tay,"

"love you too, ali"
