"It was obvious from the beginning that Billy and Stu were the killers. So predictable. It's always the love interest and his idiot friend."

Apparently, Moriarty wasn't impressed by the horror classic 'Scream'. Throughout the whole movie, he was able to predict what happened next, always one step ahead of the script. Instead of being annoyed by his constant yapping, I actually found myself thoroughly entertained by him, even occasionally adding my own comments. Even though I had watched the movie before.

"You know, there are three sequels that follow pretty much the same formula." I yawned into his chest, my eyes dangerously close to fluttering shut.

Moriarty scoffed and turned the TV off, throwing his head back. "Well, I guess now that we've started it, we have to watch the others as well someday." He sighed dramatically in mock annoyance. "Too bad. More movie nights with Lilliana, how will I ever survive that?"

I chuckled softly. It actually didn't sound so bad. A fact I should have felt disgusted by. Fraternizing with the enemy of my friends? Bad move, Lilliana. Dangerous. Deadly. But then why did it feel so good? "I'd say it is me who should worry about my survival. Watching movies about serial killers with an actual murderer."

Amused by my words, Moriarty grinned and shrugged his shoulders. "You probably should. The devil and the angel in one room. Never ends well for the angel."

"I guess I should be glad you're not my devil then," I mumbled, referring to our talk earlier that night.

He caught it instantly. "You see, I just can't have that. No one steals my status and lives to tell the tale. No, no. We need to change that. I will change it."

"Whatever you say." My voice was nothing but a gentle whisper and I was surprised he even heard it.

"Aww, someone's tired," He used his sing-song voice again. "Better get you to bed then."

Before I could reply, I felt him move and a pair of arms wriggled underneath me. "What are-" I managed to breathe out, but I was already lifted into his arms as he stood up, the blanket falling to his feet.

Quickly wrapping my arms around his neck for extra safety, I gazed at him with wide eyes. The self-proclaimed devil himself only smirked down at me, moving us both forwards blindly. My feet dangled in the air uselessly as he kicked open his bedroom door. He carefully maneuvered me through the door frame and a few seconds later, I was unceremoniously dropped onto his bed.

His teasing smile slowly vanished the longer he kept looking at me. His expression became serious, brown eyes darkening. He seemed to be lost in his thoughts, contemplating what to do with me. "Sleep tight, Lilliana." He finally whispered, sticking his hands into the pockets of his trousers. "I won't be here when you wake up. Sebastian will drive you home. You'll hear from me again very soon, darling."

"Who is Sebastian?" Was the only thing that came to my otherwise completely blank mind.

"The only man I trust." Without another glance at me, he left the room and closed the door behind himself. Leaving me to ponder over what the hell had happened between the criminal mastermind and me tonight. How was I going to keep this a secret from Sherlock? Because I was certain this wouldn't be my last evening spent with the consulting criminal. I didn't want it to be either. Accepting that was hard but I was never known for denying myself from doing what I wanted to.

"So, Sebastian, are you his friend? Bodyguard? Personal driver? Or maybe butler?"

The man in the driver's seat kept his gaze firmly locked on the road ahead, maneuvering the black Mercedes safely through London's busy streets. It was nine in the morning when I had left Moriarty's flat accompanied by a man who had kindly introduced himself as Sebastian Moran.
