Dohwa barely scrapes a pass in most subjects. He scores the highest in History and Maths. He doesn't worry too much about the numbers, though.
He's contacted Marang already, and since he's already been guaranteed the place, he can expect to receive more details about the evaluation that he'll need to do on the second of July.
When he tells you at lunchtime in a supposedly private conversation, rumours spread like wildfire. To Dohwa, it's just confirmation of what's already been whispered behind his back so many times.
Anyway, it's the last day of school tomorrow, and then after that, he's going for a coastal retreat as the annual summer trip.
He finds out that Su-ae has planned something similar, but declines as kindly as he can when she extends an invitation to him.
'He's got a girlfriend,' Eunhyeok says, smirking at Dohwa as he places a hand on Su-ae's shoulder. 'We shouldn't bother them.'
Dohwa smirks back, the tension crackling like static through the air.
'Su-ae and I are still very good friends,' he says through his teeth.
Su-ae beams. 'Of course we are!'
Dohwa utters a brief goodbye, unable to linger to tell Su-ae that he really might not see her again until after the summer vacation because, even though it's petty, he absolutely cannot stand Eunhyeok's presence any longer than necessary.
