Hoseok Pendragon's pov|
"Thank you for coming all the way here, brother",I say as we walk through a tunnel with the help of mage floating crystals illuminating the path. The well made rocky walls and the floor of the tunnel echoed our footsteps as walked along the path.
"Don't mention it. It's my duty",brother Seokjin says while still focusing on walking the path. Though his words were meant to reassure me,I could still feel the crusty and clipped tone of his voice. He is nervous. I can't blame him when I am the same as him. This tunnel, the place where it leads us to is something we all avoid at all cost after all.
His back is already tensed,I could see it.
Maybe talking about something might relax him?
"So,about the kid you brought? Heeseung right? Anything I should know about him?"
"....he came with Storm"
I already said that, seems like he doesn't want to say much about Heeseung.
"Is that so? He seems like a nice kid. My kids seem to like him the moment they met him today"
My 15 years old son Xavier was not that impressed by him but my 4 years old son Winter seemed to think otherwise. He got instantly attached to Heeseung like glue.
We halted when reached a spacious room at the end of the tunnel. It wasn't just a room. It was a graveyard. We are currently under the ground, inside a tomb, made for a very specific person.
The room was filled with four magic crystal balls for illuminating process. And there were four black pillars with carvings of thorny flowers and dragons. The floor was made from marble bricks which reflected our own mirrage. The room was big enough for almost fifty people.
And in the middle, there it was. Her tomb. More accurately, one of her tombs.
I move my legs seeing my brother frozen on his place. It's always been like this whenever he visits this place.
"Someone tried to rob this grave"
This should give him a wake up call. And it does. He tears his eyes away from the tomb made by black obsidian and looks me straight in the eyes as if to confirm what he heard was right. So,I nodded giving him the confirmation he needed.
His eyes took a dark shade as he narrowed his eyes at me,"Who?"
"Not who,...why"
He raises an eyebrow.
I move towards the tomb even more and stood right next to it,reading the letters of our anguish. In loving memory of a sister.
"No sane man would enter this grave if he knows what's best for him. And it's not like we announced to the world that we are keeping a tomb for her"
I could hear his footsteps coming closer to towards me. When he stood next to me with those stiff shoulders,I could feel the boiling rage in him.
"No one should have known about this place",he voices, tone clipped. "So how? And why? This is....an empty tomb. There is nothing worth here to rob"
"Exactly. And it seems like the robber understood this fact as well after opening this tomb",I say before pushing the coffin lid away with my strength. Inside the coffin was a set of knight uniforms and a sword which belonged to Nabi. "It seems like he couldn't find the thing he came looking for"
