"Ed, you ok? You've been gone for a bit. Thought you left me alone here honestly." Krysten chuckled softly as Ed nervously laughed, shaking his head softly.
"Yeah! I'm good I just.. I needed to handle something. I'm good now though." He spoke lightly as he overlooked her work she's displayed as his jaw slowly dropped in complete shock.
"Wow, that's just incredible!" He exclaimed as she smiled over towards him with a small amount of blush crossing over her cheeks.
"Thanks." She expressed softly as she too overlooked her work that she's displayed with a sense of accomplishment washing over her. She had completely vandalized the team mascot's statue, filling it with puzzling question marks and one word in the center of all the chaotic puzzling.
"Quiz. What's that?" He asked curiously as she shrugged lightly not entirely sure what it meant herself.
"I don't know, I guess it doesn't really mean anything. If anything it's like a persona. Quiz, rather than Krysten. I don't know, it sounds weird.." She chuckled nervously whilst second guessing herself as Ed shook his head lightly in disagreeance.
"No! Quite the opposite actually. I think it's really good!" He reassured with a bright smile as she smiled back towards him grateful that she had chosen to spend her time with him.
"HEY! WHO'S THERE!?" A security guard questioned shouting throughout the hallway as Ed quickly turned back to face him whilst, in instinct, grabbing a hold of Krysten's hand and rushing off pulling her along with him. "STOP RIGHT THERE!" The security guard exclaimed as he began chasing after the 2 while Ed and Krysten made their way back to the gym.
"Location determined." The Batcomputer announced within Bruce's cowl as a mapped out location was displayed in front of him.
"Down by the harbor, that's not far. Crane and Nygma must be in one of the old warehouses that Sionis owned when he was out on the streets." The Bat spoke to himself as he began rushing to the location as fast as he could, leaping from rooftop to rooftop.
"Batman, you there?" Gordon asked over the coms as The Bat grappneled up to the next nearest building, hurdling forward as he continued rushing to the location.
"What is it, Jim?" The Bat asked not stopping for a moment.
"It's Crane, he's brilliant. A shame he's throwing his life away to pursue a life of crime, he could've been so much more. He went to Gotham University and graduated top of his class with not one, not two, but 5 different degrees." Jim explained continuously as The Bat shook his head lightly whilst leaping over to the next building, as well as cutting the commissioner off to reach the end of his statement.
"Jim. Focus, anything that can help us find and put him down for good?" The Bat asked curiously.
"Nothing concrete yet. We only just got his background check through, Batman. I'm surprised we even got that with our network still down." Jim spoke lightly as Bruce leapt over to the next building, sliding as he then made a quick 90 degree turn as well as leaping off and diving downward.
"Maybe it's time to look into Waynetech for an upgrade then. I'm sure Bruce Wayne wouldn't mind funding the police force with technology. He's already helped Arkham as much as he could." The Bat suggested whilst pulling out his cape and gliding across the skies of Gotham as he neared the location.
"Not a bad idea. I'll give him a call after we put these bastards away. I'll keep you updated, Batman." Gordon spoke lightly before hanging up the call while The Bat landed on a nearby building that overlooked the warehouse that the batarang had pinpointed Crane and Nygma could be hiding.
