Enid's POV

You know... if you had asked me a year or two ago that I would be married to a morose and morbid girl named Wednesday Addams, and not only give birth to a daughter but adopt a little girl named Lily, I would have laughed in your face.

It's funny how time changes things, huh... I'm in this big house with the woman I love with two beautiful young ladies and I'm the happiest I've been in a long time. Oh yeah, and I have another little one on the way... our family's growing, slowly but surely.

I sat down on my comfy chair that Wednesday bought for me like, a week after we moved into the house, watching Morticia and Lily play and conversate. Lily has really warmed up to her big sister. I was so worried that they wouldn't get along, but they became fast friends and faster sisters, and my heart swelled.

"Mom, can we go to the park tomorrow? Ticia wants to get out of the house and go on an adventure-"

My heart beat a little at Lily calling me "Mom"... it was something I was hoping for her to call me, but I wanted her to do it at her own pace, and the fact that she did made me want to cry happy tears. Damn hormones...

"Are you sure Ticia said that or did she influence you to ask me this?" I playfully respond to Lily, who blushed in embarrassment.

"W-well... we... may have come up with the idea together-"

I ruffle Lily's hair lightly.

"Okay, sweetie. We can go to the park, just... stay in sight of me, okay? Wednesday's visiting your grandparents for a while so I need to know you both are going to be safe and not run off."

Ticia and Lily nodded warmly.

"Don't worry, Momma. I have informed Lily that we are only going to explore public areas while you sit and relax. I know the child you are carrying is making it a bit challenging for you to get around now, and we absolutely do not want to worry you."

I smiled again. I loved Ticia's way of speaking. She had a hint of Wends in her tone of voice, but when she got excited, my side came out unapologetically and she embraced it a lot more than she used to. I couldn't help myself from getting emotional as I wiped away a tear, which Ticia caught immediately.

"Momma? Are you okay?"

I nodded gently.

"I'm... I'm ecstatic, sweetheart. I'm with two of my angels with a third on the way, and... even though I'm missing Wednesday right now, you two are keeping me company, and I wouldn't change it for anything else in the world. I love you both, don't ever forget that, okay?"

Both Ticia and Lily nodded warmly as I pulled them into a hug.

"Of course, Momma. We love and appreciate you and Mother so very much."

A few hours passed and Ticia and Lily had fallen asleep on the couch after watching cartoons as I walked around the house. It felt so quiet without Wends in the house, clicking and clacking away on her typewriter, and I missed her so fucking much, but I wanted her to spend some time away from here for a bit, she was incredibly stubborn and reluctant because she didn't want to leave me or the girls alone for more than a second, but she eventually relented. I understood why she didn't want to leave us alone, but I was in a much better place than I used to be.
