Adriana Brasilia
SUMMARY OF HER FOOTBALL CAREER: Adriana grew up in London, England, she played football throughout her whole childhood, progressing quickly through the ranks of the Chelsea academy, when she was just 15 years old Brazil recognised her Brazilian background on her dads side. They wanted her to play for them and she was called up for a few friendlies as they didn't have the most faith in her playing big tournaments due to age. After being called up by Brazil, Chelsea recognised her talent and put her into the first team, which is where she would go on to become even more popular in English football and what would ultimately lead her to switching national teams. When she turned 17, England had finally recognised her English upbringing in London and wanted her in the National team for the upcoming women's World Cup in 2023.
She had always never really felt connected to her Brazilian side and she knew the opportunity to grow her career would be better in England so she happily switched. The Brazilian media wasn't as happy though, leading to a lot of backlash, and a deflation of the poor 17 year olds confidence. Although right after being called up for the English team, Manchester City really wanted her, and offered a lot of money for her, an offer she couldn't refuse.
Adriana has won the golden girl award since she made Chelsea's first team (2020) becoming the youngest to ever win that award and to ever play in the women's super league as well. (She has more accolades that will get mentioned late in the story)
BACKSTORY: Adriana didn't have the easiest upbringing, well not as smooth as her early football days at least. Her father was to say the least not a nice man. He was the one who had pushed her into football, but jokes on him she enjoyed it, and when the Brazilian national team came calling, he forced her to accept that too even though she had already told him her dream team was England. He would abuse her verbally and physically if she ever made any mistakes in a game and if she ever thought about taking anyone but his advice for football. He wasn't happy to say the least about her moving to Manchester and transferring to England...

RELATIONSHIPS/FRIENDSHIPS:

JAMAL MUSIALA: When she was in the Chelsea academy she was dating Jamal Musiala, the same year he went to Bayern in 2020, she got into the women's team for Chelsea and they kept in touch but ended up breaking up a little after as they were countries apart, and it was hard for the teenagers to talk with their busy lives between school and pro football. They're still really good friends to this day.

CHLOE KELLY: Chloe didn't know Adriana personally but she had heard about the wonder kid, she knew the girl had a bright future and she might potentially verse her in the upcoming World Cup, little did she know that she would become her club teammate as well as her national one.

SAM KERR: Sam Kerr was one of Adriana's mentors, they both joined Chelsea's women's team at the same time. As they were both new they ended up getting close and Sam was the one to show Adriana how to shoot penalties and silence the pressure that came with it.

PHOEBE BURNHAM: Phoebe had already known Adriana before her transfer to Manchester City, Phoebe had dm'ed Adriana when she had won her second golden girl award at 16 years of age as Phoebe was also nominated, although she was a bit salty. She decided to congratulate Adriana anyways, and ever since that conversation they became the bestest of friends.

The rest of the relationships most likely grow with the story.
