~her thoughts~

I didn't get any sleep last night.

I just sat and laid on bench on the side of the road where no cars ever road by.

I honestly been self harming all night, crying, and having mental breakdowns.

I'm so sick of everything. I don't wanna be here anymore.

It is now 8am.

I don't wanna go to school, but I know me and Jace failed on that project we had to do together.

I forgot all about it honestly.

I get off of the beach, and grabbed my bag and walked to the gas station down the street again.

I go in, and I see Jaylen.

I smiled.

"Are you always here?" I asked, laughing.

"Yea. I come here every morning to have me some snacks for school. You look drained, Riele. And your eyes are so puffy." He said, looking concerned,

"Yea, I been crying alot." I said.

"Cause of Ella?" He asked.

"Yes. And cause of something else but it's my past. I'm hurt, and I'm trying to heal."

"Heal slowly, give it time."

"I'm trying."

He then hugged me. I hugged him back.

"Do you want a ride to school?" He asked, making me smile.

"I don't wanna be there anymore cause Ella goes there and some other people im having issues with." I said.

"You can be with me all day. I will keep you company."

"Really?"

"Yes"

"Thank you.""

"You're welcome, come on." He said, as he walked to the counter and paid for his snacks.

"Can I grab some?" I asked.

"Of course you can." He said.

I then walked to the chips isle and grabbed my purple Doritos again, and I grabbed some hot fries and a pineapple juice.

I then walk back to the counter, and sat it on the counter.

"You love those chips, don't you?" He laughed.

"Yes, I do." I smiled.

"Yeah, I see why. They good."

"Exactly."
