EMMA'S POV.
I woke up to my brother Luke knocking on the door, i opened my eyes to look at the clock and saw that it is 7:15, OMGG I am going to be late to school!!! I heard another knock on the door and hurried to open it before he breaks it down.
"Still sleeping you sleepyhead"
"Good morning to you too" I said with a soft yawn
"What are you waiting for you are going to be late"
"Don't remind me ughhhh"

"Well if you are not in the car in 15 minutes you are going to enjoy a morning walk to the school" 

I closed the door and hurried to take a quick shower, then I put on my clothes quickly and tied my hair in a ponytail before running down the stairs. I saw my dad sitting reading a news paper, I looked around but didn't find mom.
" Morning dad"
"Morning love"
" Where's mom"
" She's still sleeping"
" Sleeping till now?? Is she alright"
And before he could answer Luke's car was going to wake up the whole street 
"Emma come on we are going to be late"
I said a quick goodbye to my father and rushed to the car
" Why did u take too long" he said when I opened the passenger seat
"I was talking with dad"
"Mhmm"
"Luke is mom alright?" he was confused by my question
"Yeah I guess so, why?"
"Well she wasn't in the kitchen and when I asked dad where she is he said she is still sleeping"
"And you didn't ask him why?"
"Yes I did, but my annoying brother started screaming my name and honking  like it's the end of the world" we both started laughing
"Well that's weird"
"Yeah"
"I'll call her after class"
"Okay"
And by that we arrived to school . Oh yes Luke gets to ride a car while me gets stuck by asking favors to be driven there and then. 

I went to my first class-English-sat in the first table and took out my books.

 I like to sit in the first row so I can concentrate well, I always have high grades and I am proud of that.

After finishing my long 5 classes, I went to meet Luke to see if he called mom or yet. I found him standing in the corner with his phone in his hand, I walked toward him and he saw me coming
"Hey Em"
"Hey, did you talk with mom?"
"I called her and she didn't answer also called home and no one picked up too, so I am trying to contact dad at the office"
"I thought he didn't have work today"
"So did I"
"What we are going to do now?"
"Nothing, what will we do?" I  was shocked when he said nothing
"She is your mom you idiot how do we do nothing? What if she's sick? What if she fell down and broke her leg? What if someone broke into the house? What if-"
"Hey, hey slow down she will be alright now I have to go I have practice "
"You idiot I am going home to see if she's alright"
I went back home walking because that is what I get every time Luke has his long silly practice .
On my way home I could not stop thinking what if she's hurt? And where the hell is my father? I looked at the sky seeing the dark clouds, wow it is going to rain now and I have to hurry or I will get soaked.
I knocked on the door and no one answered, so I started looking for my keys in my messy bag instead with millions of questions in my head. After finally finding then and unlocking the door, I went upstairs, where I  heard some voices. It wasn't until I got to the top of the stairs that I realized it was screaming coming from my parents room. Wait!!! My parents are fighting!!! I never saw them fighting they always solve their problems by talking. 

"How dare you" screamed my mother
"Come on Nicole didn't you get bored form all this life?"
"No I didn't John, and if I got bored I won't cheat on my husband and drug him like you did to me last night to stay sleeping!" 

I was shocked dad is cheating on mom? No, no way.
I opened the door and both of their eyes went on me "Is this true dad?" I said but he didn't answer he kept looking "Answer me dad is what  mom said true"
"Darling please calm down it is not what you think it is" he said

"It is not what I think it is? I am pretty sure i heard what mom said loud and clear! So please answer the question by yes or no"

"Fine yes I did" he said sounding sad and disappointed
"How dare you!" Is all I said before storming out the house. It was raining heavily  but I didn't care, all I cared about was getting away, far away from this house.
