It took them half an hour to walk back to Sanemi's estate, the cold air biting at their faces. By the time they reached, it was well past midnight.

Sanemi wrapped his arm around Giyuu's shoulders, pulling him close as they approached the door.

He opened the door and guided Giyuu inside, his movements gentle and loving.

"Welcome home, Giyuu..."
He whispered, closing the door behind them.

Giyuu blushed at Sanemi's words, looking down shyly.

"Sanemi..." He mumbled.

Sanemi chuckled softly and pulled Giyuu close, nuzzling into his neck.
"I'm sorry! I can't help it... Not when it comes to you... "

Giyuu blushed intensely at the words, his face heating up.

"H-Ah! Right! I should freshen up after that long walk..."
He stumbled over his words, his blush deepening as he pushed past Sanemi towards the bathroom, eager to escape the intimate atmosphere.

He called back shyly over his shoulder,
"W-Wait for me, okay?"

Sanemi watched Giyuu flee to the bathroom, a soft smile playing on his lips.

"Cute..."
He chuckled to himself before nodding eagerly and turning around.

"I'll wait for you, Giyuu..."
He called after him, his voice gentle.

He then sat down by the area in his backyard, gazing up at the starry sky. He sighed softly, his eyes lost in the twinkling lights.

The sky reminded him so much of Giyuu's eyes, all sparkling and bright.

It's really chilly out here, hm?
He thought, his body shivering slightly as a cold wind blew.

He slowly reached into his pocket, pulling out a small, withered bracelet made of leaves and flowers.
He held it gently in his hands, his fingers tracing the delicate patterns.

A soft smile graced his lips as memories of Giyuu giving it to him almost a year ago, flooded his mind.

His smile grew wider as he remembered that day, almost a year ago.

Giyuu had shyly approached him, holding out this handmade bracelet. Even though Sanemi had been so mean to him, calling him annoying and claiming to hate him, Giyuu still made this for him.

He chuckled at the memory, shaking his head. He thought back to how oblivious Giyuu had been, not noticing Sanemi's true feelings at all.

It was almost cute, how Giyuu had persisted in being kind to him despite his harsh words.

As Sanemi lost himself in memories, footsteps approached from behind. He turned around, his eyes meeting Giyuu's, who had just come out from washing up.

The warmth of the place and the soft glow of the lights made Giyuu's eyes shine even more brightly than the stars above.

Giyuu walked up to Sanemi, tilting his head curiously.

"What are you looking at, Sanemi?"
He asked softly, his voice gentle in the quiet night.

"Let me see-"
He sat beside Sanemi, his eyes widening as he saw what Sanemi was holding.

"Y-You still have it?"
He whispered, his voice barely audible.

He had thought for sure that Sanemi had thrown it away, along with his feelings for him. But here it was, still intact, still with Sanemi.

Sanemi blushed under Giyuu's surprised gaze.

"It-It's not like I carry it everywhere, okay?..."
He stammered, quickly stuffing the bracelet back into his pocket.
