Pia's Pov

It's December 31st, Hindi ako umuwi saakin dahil inabot na Naman ako ng katamaran. Kakarating ko lang galing simbahan, Mamaya pa ako mag call sa gc namin to greet them a happy new year.

I was about to change my clothes when my phone rang. It was Adriel so answered it

"Hello?" I said

"Hey Pia, busy ka?" Tanong nito

"Hindi Naman kakarating ko lang galing church" Saad ko

"Great, ayy wait Hindi ka umuwi sainyo?" Tanong nito

Umiling ako, as if nakikita ako nito

"Nope" Saad ko

"Why?"

"Tinamad ako eh" tipid Kong Sabi

"Pasaway ka talaga, saan ka mag bagong Taon niyan?" Tanong nito

I shrugged

"I don't know, Dito siguro sa Bahay?" I said as if I'm not sure

"Want to celebrate with me?" Tanong nito

Napatawa ako

"Adriel, Wala ka bang pamilya?" I laughed

"Pia I told you already nasa ibang bansa Sila" he chuckled

"Okay, let's celebrate our new year together then" I said

"Great, I'll pick you up at 11:45?" Saad nito

I glance at the clock, it's 10:30 pm I still have time

"Sure" I smiled

"Okay, bye Pia!" May sigla sa boses nito

"Bye Adriel, ingat sa maneho" Saad ko

And after that the call ended.

Humiga ako sa kama at tumitig sa kisame

How's Loren doing today? I can't call her dahil alam Kong busy din yun. I just realized that what I felt for Loren is romantic and it's not okay because she's a friend and comfortable na siya saakin. What if Malaman niya at iwasan ako? Ikamamatay ko Yun.

There's only one thing to do. Sasagutin ko na SI Adriel to get Loren out of my mind. She's an off limits at dapat ko Yun itatak sa kokote ko.

After an hour of waiting I heard his car honking outside kaya Dali Dali akong bumaba. I grab my coat dahil malamig din Ang simoy ng hangin.

"Hi Pretty!" Bati nito at pinabuksan ako

Napatawa ako, Adriel is such a gentleman and Wala namang Mali sa kanya. I can sense that he's pursuing me talaga.

"Saan Tayo?" Tanong ko

"Anywhere?" Ngiti nito

"Carnaval Tayo" tawa ko

"Carnaval then" Saad nito

After a 30 minutes drive nakarating din kami. Kokonti nalang Ang tao since nasa Bahay na siguro nag titipon tipon.

"Ferris wheel Tayo?" Saad nito

I just nodded as an answer. Adriel bought 2 tickets for us.

"In just 3 minutes bagong Taon na, what's your wish Pia?" Tanong nito

I just stared at the sky that full of stars

To be with Loren..

"My wish is to have a blissful and happy year" ngiti ko

"How about you Adriel, what's your wish?" Tanong ko

"To be with the woman I love" Saad nito

Tiningnan ko ito, the ferris wheel was still moving and Adriel was also looking at the sky.
