108. ~ Wish

PLEASE READ (BUT ONLY IF YOU WANT TO):

So, after I finish PMFC up. I plan on writing four new stories (but I'll probably only go through with one or two of them cuz lazy af). One more Lashton, one Malum (in this style), one Muke (*hides in corner then comes back guns blazing cuz yes bitches I'll be writing Muke) and one with either ot4 or Mashlum (we shall see). I have already started writing my Muke fic but I haven't posted anything up yet. And I already have in mind my ideas for the other three. So check those out, if you please, when I decide to put them up.

Also, I plan on wrapping this story up in the next thirty chapters or so. Hopefully they'll be done by August or before Fall semester starts (I'm going to be a freaking sophomore in college, what is life?) but we shall see cuz I write everything on my phone and yeah, my fingers get tired (*snickers childishly*). I know, I said I'd finish around 120 but there is still much to happen and I plan on doing a three chapter epilogue (does that even count if it's three chapters?) since my chapters are so short. Comment any events you'd like to see happen in future chapters. Or if you'd like to see some s-m-u-t (though, I'm not too sure how to write lashton frickle frackle in script form but if you guys want I'll damn well try).

Setting: Luke's Room. Room 343.

Ashton: (walks in, sees Luke putting food away) You went shopping?

Luke: (closes cabinet door) Yeah. You're here a lot. Might as well have food around.

Ashton: (bites lip, worried) You didn't have to buy food. I could've went and got stuff for myself and brought it here. Or we could've split the cost.

Luke: (grins) Ashton, seriously. Chill. It's no big deal. I just got cereal, milk, bread and some meats and stuff. It really didn't cost all that much.

Ashton: I just...

Luke: (rolls his eyes, pats Ashton's hair) Don't worry about it too much. You can buy the next round of food, if it's really bothering you. (chuckles) You'd probably look less lost.

Ashton: I can picture you trying to figure out the difference between whole, low-fat and 2% milk.

Luke: (completely serious) I just got all of them. (Ashton laughs, Luke hugs him, Ashton hugs back, still laughing) Koala?

Ashton: (softly) Hm?

Luke: (nervous, bites his lip) Go on a date with me?

Ashton: (stills, grip on Luke tightens) Like...a real date? Not a friendly one?

Luke: (pulls away slightly, still holding Ashton) A real one. (gently) But only if you feel that you're ready. Don't say yes just because you'd feel guilty.

Ashton: Will we have to hold hands?

Luke: (chuckles) Only if you want to.

Ashton: I wanna try holding hands with you.

Luke: Anything you want, koala.

Ashton: (pulls away, shyly) Can we practice now?

Luke: (smiles) You want to hold hands now? (Ashton nods slowly) Okay. (holds hands out, Ashton places both his hands in both of Luke's hands) Is this okay?

Ashton: (laces their fingers together, smiling) It's...it's not as bad as I thought.

Luke: (sarcastic) Thanks.

Ashton: (giggles, lets one of Luke's hands go, places both hands in the other, brings Luke's hand to rest on his cheek) I like you, Lukey. Did you know?

Luke: (fond) I know.

Ashton: (smiles, nuzzles against Luke's palm) I hope you know that I'm trying Luke. (stops, looks at Luke straight in the eye) I really am. I want this to work but I need us to take our time.

Luke: (pulls him close, kisses Ashton's head softly) As long as you need, koala. Whenever you're ready, love.

QOTD: Is Ashton starting to accept his feelings for Luke? How is he showing that he is or isn't? Why is he still hesitant?
