Mall Scavenger Hunt

-Sunday-

I like Chris Sturniolo.

Of course I've liked guys in the past but this one feels different. Scarier because it's more real. I think he likes me back which even the thought of makes me spiral.

"SUNDAY" Demitra barges into my room and opens my blinds. Common you have to get up. We need to film today, remember, the scavenger hunt?"

"Ugh five more minutes" I say turning my head into my pillow. 

"No we have to leave in like an hour and I know you, it takes a while to get ready so common, get up" she says.

I hate when she's right.

I get up and go brush my teeth. Then I fix my hair and do my makeup. I go into my closet and pick out a pair of navy blue jeans and a white tank top that says REVICE in hot pink. I then slip on a pair of Ugg's.

"SUNDAY COME ON WE HAVE TO GO" Demitra yells from downstairs

I go downstairs and go into the kitchen to eat breakfast

"Come on we don't have any time." she says

"But I'm hungry." I say

"You can eat when we get there now come on" she says

I go outside and get in the car and we drive to the mall. When we get there I see the triplets standing waiting in the food court. We walk up to them and Mia starts explaining the premise of the video.

"Okay so were gonna be in the same teams from yesterday and your going to be vlogging on your own. There are three things you have to get: 1. A quiet store to film a tiktok in at full volume, 2. Some sort of matching item, and 3. Find some sort of game in the mall play it and then come back here. Whoever gets back here first wins." Demitra explains, "Ok on your marks, get set, go!" 

I pull out my phone camera and start vlogging "Ok lets go!" I yell to Chris "So first we have to find a quiet store."

"Here the children's clothes store is basically empty right now" he says

We run to the door and then walk in. It's practically silent in there because it's only us and the worker in the store.

I whisper to my phone vlog "Ok guys now we have to film a tiktok at full volume. I'm really nervous because it's dead silent in here."

"What tiktok should we make?" Chris asks

"Why don't we do that one that's like 'Your spinning me around, my feet off the ground' do you know that one?" I ask

"Yeah I know it. That's a good idea." he says while propping his phone up. 

I put my phone next to his for the vlog and he turns his volume up to the max setting and presses record.

The sound screeches through the whole store and I start dying laughing. I force myself to spin in a circle then I stand in front of Chris and he picks me up and I start kicking my feet. I notice how he picks me up so easily and I find myself blushing. We keep going with the video but since it's in 0.5 it feels like it's taking forever. Finally we get to the end and grab eachothers hand and skip towards the camera.

The video ends and we grab our phones and sprit out of the store. We're both still dying laughing and so we stop in the middle of the mall and just laugh. I collapse to the ground and nearly drop my phone. After another 30 seconds of laughing we cool off and Chris helps me get up.

"Okay we need to find something matching now." I say

"Here I know where to go" Chris says while taking my hand and leading me down the mall.
