"Harry sang his heart out." Louis chuckled, smiling. "I mean.. He sang his heart out."

Lucy has a concentrated look on her face as she looks from Harry to Louis and then repeats her actions.

Harry manages a small smile, as Louis glanced at him.

"You peed on him!" She then laughed, making the air less tense than it was just a few seconds ago.

"Oh, he panicked so much. It wasn't a big deal. Well.. It was gross, yeah. But it wasn't that much of a big deal." Louis teased, as Harry rolled his eyes.

They both felt as if they were just speaking to Lucy and only her but they soon broke from that feeling once they remembered there was three other people in the room with them, two of those people competing for Lucy's choice as well.

What made Louis upset was that he didn't want to have to fight again. He's fought through quite enough the past several years. He wished all the fighting for Harry and himself stopped, and they could be happy effortlessly.

Harry and Louis didn't know if it was going to work, maybe she would still have no idea.. But they wanted to give it a try. Louis was positive this would work, Harry just.. He was caught up remembering what a good time it was to meet Louis for the first time. Harry felt warm inside, remembering what it was like in the beginning. How clueless they were to what love felt like, what true love felt like. What did he expect? He was sixteen, Louis was eighteen.

Friends? They thought they would be friends. Obviously more than that. It's funny how life turned out for them actually.

"Hey, Lucy sorry." Nora interrupted, this unreadable look on the woman's face. "We'd like to speak to Louis and Harry for a little outside if that's okay?''

"You have to tell me what happens next." She sits up in her seat, looking back at Harry and Louis.

"Yeah." Harry smiled, Louis nodding as they both headed out into the hallway with Nora and Trevor.

Mrs. Wills stayed in the office to keep Lucy company as they headed out.

Louis scowled at the two as soon as the door had clicked closed, Harry protectively wrapped an arm around his shoulders.

"Why don't you just give it up?" Nora said.

"Do you even know who we are?" Louis hissed, Harry's eyes widening.

"Louis." He shook his head disapprovingly. Harry never liked that, just never did. He knows One Direction was a huge thing back then and it still is somehow, but he hated when Louis used it against people in a negative way. That wasn't what the band was all about.

"Harry you know this isn't fair." Louis whispered, frowning. "We shouldn't even be fighting this hard for Lucy, because we deserve her. We were the first ones here. We.. We deserve it."

He felt his heart shatter at the sad look painted on Louis' face, making him sigh.

"Listen. No matter what you do, we can buy Lucy for a higher price. So Mrs. Wills will give her to us anyway." Trevor spoke, shrugging. "So I suggest you both go, be in love somewhere else than around us."

"What the fuck." Louis said out loud, about to walk over to Trevor and teach him a little lesson.

"She isn't a thing that's bought. She's a child who deserves nothing but love at her age." Harry ignored Louis, but he couldn't help but silently agree with him. What the fuck.

"You are nothing but selfish rich cunts who want Lucy for the wrong purposes, you don't deserve her! We--"

Once the door opens, Louis shuts his mouth and Harry straightens up, clearing his throat.

"Nora, Trevor. Please step inside." The lady with the slightly white hair had motioned them in. The two parents had sent us glares before walking in and going back to their fake selves.

Mrs. Wills closes the door, staring at Harry and then at Louis. She seemed to do that a lot.

"What was that?" She whispered, scowling.

"What?" Louis asked.

"I could hear you, even behind that door. Violent words isn't the answer. It'll only lessen your chance. For one, parenting shouldn't involve cursing around the children.'' She sighed.

Harry couldn't help but agree with Louis though.. He was right to get mad at the two stuck up adults.

''We're sorry." Harry apologized on both their behalf this time. ''We really are, they were.. They were taunting us, and Louis got a little riled up that's all it is."

"They weren't taunting us, they were throwing their money in our faces." Louis pointed. He was beginning to lose his patience with all of this.

Harry held his arm, and then slid his hand down into Louis'. The rope and the anchor tattoos made Harry smile a bit about the memory.

"It's okay." He whispered to his boyfriend who just breathed out and nodded after a moment.

Harry's words soothed him, and Louis was just glad he had Harry around. Without him, everything would be so out of proportion, just so off.

After a few more calming words from Harry, he had pecked Louis on the cheek a few times before he was smiling once again. He knew he could never resist Harry anyway.

They walked in, not bothering to acknowledge Nora and Trevor's presence as they sat back down.

Lucy is fiddling with her fingers as she looks up at the two. Her eyes widened in excitement. "Is it story time now?"

Harry grinned, looking at Louis. "Yeah, it's story time." He nodded. Harry watched Louis press his lips together in thought.

It was his turn to remember.

He set a hand on top of Louis' as he pulled a small smile. "Let's just take it back some years." Louis spoke playfully, as he began to remember everything.

But then he tried to push all the hardships to get to where they were now, to the back of his mind. It was the hardest part about remembering because there was a time when both of them wished they didn't have to remember.

"Well, after they met they never knew they'd be in the same band together. It was almost as if fate had a plan for these two, like no other. They were just bound to meet again.''

"What's fate?" Lucy asked.

Yet they both still could not explain the world. Fate.

"Something that all the cupids and lovebirds plan for two people." Harry says, making Lucy's small pink lips curl up in a smile.

And in that moment, Louis swore he saw Mrs. Wills smile just slightly too.
