The car was silent, not even the radio giving out a sound. When they had gotten in Calum had turned it off, and started to drive back to Emily's house. The entire ride, her head was spinning with too many thoughts, too many fears, too much everything. The more she thought the faster her heart beat, the more jagged her breathing got. She barely noticed the car was stopped, and when she looked up, she could see they were parked outside her house.

"I..can't go in there." She choked out, the anxiety finally catching up. "I..no I can't how the fuck am I going to tell my parents I'm pregnant? Oh my god. I'm pregnant. Oh my god. No. Shit. Fuck. There's a fucking baby in me. Oh my god Calum no I can't I can't this can't be real oh my god." Tears were leaking from her eyes, and no matter how much air she sucked in, it wasn't enough.

"Hey, hey." Calum sat up straighter, resting a hand on her back. "Emily, breathe. It's okay, just calm down alright?" He could see the girl nod, but she was still in hysterics. "Here, we'll go for a drive until you relax and we'll talk about this, okay?" He didn't wait for a response to start driving.

He decided to drive to the local bay. It was a calming area, one where people went to relax and take a stroll or walk their dog. There wasn't many people at this hour of the day, many of them still at work or finishing up their homework.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Calum asked, after putting the car in park.

"No." Emily's voice was monotone. It was as if she wasn't even really there, talking. At least in her mind she wasn't.

"Emily you know we didn't mean for this to happen I would have never-"

"Would have never fucked me if you knew you'd knock me up?" She spat, turning in her seat to face him.

"What? No that's not what I was going to say." Calum bit back a groan.

"Did it mean anything to you?" She asked, raising her eyebrows at the boy in front of her. "All of the stuff we did, it didn't mean anything did it?"

"Of course it did, just not like that." He was careful of his tone and choice of words, not wanting to upset the girl farther.

"What the fuck is that supposed to even mean?!" She yelled "It either meant something or it didn't Calum. I was either just another girl in your bed or you actually cared, which one was it." The girl's emotions was on high, and she was letting it get the best of her.

"Look, Em, calm down okay?" The glare she shot at him could kill. "No seriously Emily you need to breathe okay, look at me and breathe in and out and relax." She didn't realize how jagged her breath was, how her heart was pounding so hard against her chest. She followed Calums directions, and he smiled softly taking her hands in his and rubbing her knuckles softly with his thumb.

"I wouldn't have done anything with you if I didn't care about you. I care about you, you know that right?" Emily nodded her head. "And I know it was all new and different and exciting and scary all at the same time and I would never, ever take that experience away from someone and make it sour just because I couldn't keep it in my pants." He chuckled. Emily nodded her head, not happy with the response she received but also understanding where he was coming from. "But unfortunately things have taken a change in direction that obviously we didn't expect or even think about," he released one of Emily's hands to run through his hair "but don't worry because we'll take care of it. You won't have to tell anyone, and we can just tell Michael it was a scare yeah? I'll pay whatever I have to and we can just put this behind us."

Emily recoiled away from Calums touch as if he had burned her. She moved so fast her shoulder jerked into the window making her wince. "Take care of it? Calum this is a baby inside of me we can't just-"

"It's not a baby yet." Calum mumbled mostly under his breath.

"Excuse me?" Emily was seething once again, not believing the words that were coming out of Calums mouth.

"It's not a fucking baby yet Emily, and we aren't going to let it turn into one!" Calum finally shouted, pounding his fist against the steering wheel.

"I can't believe you're saying this I– I can't even deal with you right now I have to go." She opened the door then, stepping out of the car and slamming it shut before Calum could say anything.

"Emily get your ass back in the car." The boy called out his window, but Emily showed no sign that she had even heard the boy. He groaned, punching his steering wheel once more. "Emily please just let me drive you home, I don't feel comfortable with letting you walk alone." His voice was much softer and calmer now, causing the girl to turn and look at him. Her eyes were watery and her cheeks red and wet, and once she noticed his change in demeanor she furiously wiped the tear tracks off of her face.

"Just bring me home. I don't want to talk about it, or anything for that matter. Just drive me to my house." She muttered, sliding back in the passenger seat.

"Em," he tried again, but stopped once he saw the girls facial expression and the finger she held up as if to silence him.

"Just drive." She sighed, leaning her forehead against the cold window.

Once he pulled up to Emily's house for a second time he put the car in park and turned to the girl.

"We'll talk about this another time, okay? I know it was a lot to take in." He was trying to comfort the girl but to no avail.

"There's nothing to talk about Calum I'm pregnant with your child and there isn't anything you can say or do to change that." She was getting annoyed now, just wanting to go back to the comfort of her room and sleep.

"Emily there's a lot to talk about even if you decide to keep it-"

"Stop saying if!" She yelled, bringing her fist down on her thigh out of frustration. "Stop calling the baby an it and stop saying if and just stop talking like that Jesus Christ." She shook her head at Calum. Was he seriously not understanding?

"Emily you're fucking 15 years old do you seriously think you can have this child and it all be shits and rainbows and glitter? Because it's not. And I won't be around to help if that's what's you really want." He was getting annoyed as well, every time he tried to reason with her the situation just got worse.

"I don't need you to be around." She shot back, opening the door and stepping out. This time he let her.

Before he drove away he rolled down the window however to say the last thing he has to say. "Don't you think to tell anyone about this, and don't you dare say it's mine. We aren't finished talking about this Emily and so help me God if a word gets out-" his fists tightened around the wheel. "We'll talk when you get your head out of your ass."

The girl scoffed. "I have nothing left to say to you, asshole." And then she turned on her heels rushing inside of her house, making sure to slam the door behind her.
