Blossom was wandering around the woods nearby the Cullen's house. Admiring the trees and woodland creatures. She saw foxes and deers prancing the area. It was beautiful.
She heard a ruffle in some bushes and got closer. "Who's there?" Blossom called out. A snot appeared and soon a wolf's head came out of the bushes. "Paul?" Blossom said in a whisper. "You can't be on this side of the land, what are you doing?"
Paul's wolf backed into the bushes and he changed back into himself. He changed into a pair of shorts before reaching his arm out to pull blossom into the bushes.
"I needed to see you. I haven't heard from you, I wanted to make sure you were safe," he whispered. His breath fanning her face.
"There is no point trying to hide, they are vampires they can sense you already and hear us," Blossom said shaking her head.
"Then why aren't they here to stop me?" Paul asked with a raised eyebrow.
Blossom turned her head to peek out of the bushes, Edward was standing watching from the window from his room.
"His watching us," Blossom said turning back to Paul. "Thank you for coming to check on me but you can tell the pack I'm okay. How's Jacob?"
Paul rolled his eyes. "I came to check on you. Not the pack. And Jacob will move on," he said staring into her eyes.
She felt his eyes looking down at her lips. "Paul I don't feel that way about you," she mumbled.
His eyes drooped and his smile dropped into a frown. "I'm trying to be your friend and your so full of yourself you think I'd want you after you've been with a vampire. I'm out of here," he said scoffing, turning around and changing into his wolf.
"Paul-," Blossom called out but he was already running off. She yelled in frustration. She turned to walk back inside but ran into a chest. She looked up, it was Edward.
"He shouldn't be on our side of the land," Edward said glancing over her shoulder into the bushes.
"He knows that. Why didn't you stop him?" Blossom asked confused.
"He said what he had to say. I gave him that chance but won't happen again," he said taking her arm and leading her inside.
"Do you miss Bella?" Blossom asked curiously.
Edward paused. "No. I only have feelings for you," he said as they walked into the piano room. He sat at the bench and began to play.
Blossom slowly approached him. "I don't want to become a vampire but since I'm your mate, I know it'll have to happen. I just want to know when."
He continues playing the piano. "I don't want to change you but realistically it'll happen at some point. For when, will be your decision."
She nodded her head. "You didn't sleep with Bella did you?"
Edward went silent. A buzzing noise was ringing and he checked his phone. "It's Bella," he mumbled.
He declined the call and she called again and again.
"Gonna answer that?" Blossom asked with a raised eyebrow.
He thought for a moment. He blocked her number and put his phone away. "No and to answer your question no we didn't sleep together."
Blossom was pleased to hear that. "I'm going to go see Rosalie and Alice," she told him as she left the room.
The girls were in Rosalie's room, looking through her closet. Alice skipped to Blossom and dragged her into the room. "Come in, come in. We trying on clothes."
Blossom giggled sitting down next to Alice as Rosalie tried on different outfits.
"How's it going between you and Eddie?" Rosalie asked trying on different shoes.
"It's okay. Bella was calling him and he blocked her number," she said shrugging.
"That's good," Alice said clapping her hands. "I can't wait for your wedding!"
"Woah woah Alice," Rosalie said shaking her head.
"Slow down there we haven't even started dating yet," Blossom said laughing.
"We'll he better take you on a date soon," Alice said frowning.
"Speak of the devil," Rosalie mumbled as Edward appeared at the door.
"Hey Blossom I was wondering if you wanted to go get dinner and see a movie?" Edward asked sheepishly.
Alice shook her arm with excitement, "yes yes."
Blossom looked at Alice. "Really?"
Alice smiled sheepishly. "Come on it'll be fun. Go."
Blossom shook her head. "Alright,"
"Let's pick out an outfit. She'll see you downstairs," Rosalie said shoving Edward out and shutting the door.
"Dress and heels," Alice chanted going through her closet.
"Here wear this," Rosalie said handing her a short black dress and black heels. "So hot."
Blossom rolled her eyes and changed in the bathroom. She stepped out and struck a pose. "How do I look?"
"Sexy!" Alice giggled.
All three girls headed downstairs and Edward was waiting by the front door.
"Damn girl," Emmett said eyes wide. Rosalie slapped his arm.
"Thanks," she said laughing, "bye!"
Edward opened the car door for her and they drove off to the movies. Ironically they were watching a vampire movie. He bought her popcorn.
"This movie is so unrealistic," Edward whispered as the vampires in the movie turned to ash in the sunlight.
Blossom whispered back, "you're just jealous they are cooler than you."
Edward chuckled. The movie ended and they headed to an Italian restaurant. She ordered spaghetti.
"This has been nice," blossom said giving Edward a smile.
He reached across the table and held her hand. "I'm glad. I'm having fun as well."
"So.."
He smiled. "Do you want to be my girlfriend?"
"I don't think I have much of a choice but yes," she teased.
It was strange for her to have a mate. A vampire mate. She never thought this would happen. She felt like she was in a chick flick.
