You went to the movies. The place where Hyunjin fell in love with you. The moment he knew he loved you. You were wearing Hyunjin's hoodie. It was zipped all the way up to your neck.

You knew it wasn't the ideal first day, since first dates you needed to talk to get to know each other better. But you already knew him. Too well. He was your friend first before this. You were close.

You used to go to the movies with Seungmin and his mom, and gone with just Seungmin, but never as a couple, like on a date.

Once you and Seungmin spied on people while they were on dates. You had never gotten caught. You two always cracked up the whole time.

You wondered if Seungmin was out there in the dark somewhere, spying on you two.

You sat with your arms crossed, like you were cold. You were sharing a drink and popcorn. All the popcorn was gone already.

"Do you want more popcorn or candy or anything?"

You kind of did, but you didn't want him to waste his time waiting in line. So, you said no thanks.

He was really into the movie. You felt like you were watching him more than watching the movie. When he caught you staring, he smiled.

"I'm going to get more popcorn." You whispered.

"I thought you said you didn't want any."

You felt his grin as you got up and walked out of the theater. When you made your way to the concession stand, that's when you saw him. He'd been on his way to the concession stand when he saw you.

His hair was messed up and he looked furious when he saw you. His lips were rosy and his cheeks had a hint of rosy on them as well.

You wished he was there for you. To find you. It would make you feel comforted somehow. Safer. You should have known better. You felt like you might cry and you weren't quite sure why.

He walked away in silence, not getting anything from the concession stand. You walked back into the theater, holding your breath a little with a pack of Twizzlers. You reached for the soda he was holding to take a sip, but saw the straws were gone.

"Where's the straws?" You asked him.

He then grabbed the Twizzlers from you, ripping the plastic off and bit the ends off of two Twizzlers. He then put them into the cup. He grinned. The romantic side of him was showing.

You sipped out of the straws at the same time, like couples used to do in the old days. Heads bent, foreheads almost touching. Hyunjin looked at you and he smiled. You thought, I wish this was Seungmin.

Which was crazy. This was Hyunjin. The one you fell in love with. Not Seungmin. He wasn't the one who betrayed you.

When the movie was over you were disappointed he was taking you home already. The drive back was silent. He parked his car in front of your house.

You waited a moment to see if he'd turn off the car. He didn't. So you got out of the car. As you started walking up to your front door you heard footsteps behind you.

You looked behind you to see him. He looked so sweet, the way he watched you, waiting for you to say something. Your cheeks were flushed pink.

You swallowed and said, "I had a good time tonight."

"I'm glad you did." He reached out and touched your arm. Your hand shook. "I wish it was longer."

That's when he dipped his head low and kissed you. All you could think was, I wish I was kissing Seungmin. I wish he was my first kiss.

The next day a part of you knew that Seungmin knew that you were with Hyunjin, on a date yesterday. He knew you kissed him. That he lost you.

You would never be his. That's what he thought. He has been in a foul mood ever since. He'd only ever be your best friend. But is that true?
