His grip on my shoulder relaxed, and he took a step back, his eyes never leaving mine. I saw the questions, the fear of losing me, but I had to do this. I wanted him to understand that postponing our marriage was for the best. My mind recoiled at the thought of what he had done, but I couldn't deny it. The man I thought I knew was dangerous, and that realization shook me to my core.
"Why?" he whispered, his voice barely audible.
I froze, uncertain if I was doing the right thing or being selfish. But I knew I couldn't go through with the marriage, not now. I needed time alone, space to think.
"Why?" he shouted this time, his intensity making me flinch. The people around us turned to stare, but he didn't notice, lost in his own turmoil.
"Let's go somewhere private," I whispered, desperate to escape the scene.
He nodded, his eyes still locked on mine. We went to a narrow alley ...
" Why " he again asked I looked at his eyes who were trying to find something to console him to make him aware that iam joking.
" What you did with rishu " I asked locking my eyes with him. "Who rishu" he asked his gaze burned with jealousy knowing Iam taking a male name other than him and that too his nick name but he needs to get this straight in his head that it's not how he should behave when he is jealous.
"The one you fired" I whispered. My gaze trying to read his face trying to find out if he is regretting what he has done to him if he knows what he had done is wrong like so wrong.
"What about him" he asked and this time I can see fear crawling to him his gaze fell to the ground ok so he knows what he did was wrong.
"You know what I am talking about just say the damn thing I want to hear abhi" I yelled at him his gaze never met mine his hold on me loosened and slowly slipped.
"I can explain" he shuttered. "Explain" I said. "I was jealous" he whispered almost inaudible to me. "It doesn't justify you're doing Mr. Abhinav Malhotra" I yelled. "I know" he whispered ""You hid that from me abhi I thought we didn't have any secret" I whispered a tear slipped from my eyes and his gaze flickered towards me his hand an inch from wipping my tears when I swayed his hand. "I was not yours back then I was not you're friend nor girlfriend neither wife why must you do that to a poor boy who is none other than my good friend who was helping me" I again yelled and the only thing i got from him was a mere sorry.
