~ few years later ~
Soft rhythmic music reverts through the pastel walls of the room. In the big space that looked much smaller after being filled with the children, the sun rays danced along with them. The soft aesthetic of the room matched well with the music and the all together vibes.
Tiny hands and feet tried their best to follow their dance instructor, twirling around just like him. Their hand movements are sharp yet soft, and as the song reaches the end, all of them bow down to finish the act with grace. And after a few seconds the room erupts with the sound of clapping.
“ Well done, my sweet cheeks.”
The dance teacher applauds for them as he gets down on his knees, knowing what was coming next.
It has now become a tradition among the children, for them to engulf him in a big hug before going back home. All of them rushed into the open arms and the room boomed with the sound of their happy giggles.
Through the glass door, a young man looked at the view and smiled. He made sure to capture the moment in the form of a photograph in his camera before he decided to disturb it.
“ Kids, your parents are here.”
On hearing that, the children hurried to grab their backpacks and started to walk out of the room in an orderly fashion just how their teacher had taught them to.“ The children sure have a favorite teacher.”
The man said, putting a sad pout on his face. He was the one who started this dance academy for the children but they've grown to love their new dance teacher more than him. It's not like he's complaining about it or anything. He just likes to tease the younger like that.“ Hobi hyung, it's not like that.”
Jimin grabs his towel from his bag, wiping off his sweat as he looks at Hoseok still giving him the same look. They always have a little banter here and there on who is the children's favorite. Jimin thinks it's Hobi and Hoseok thinks it's Jimin.“ Jimin ah, I know they like you better.”
Hoseok said, putting his hand on Jimin's shoulder, his tone getting serious. Before Jimin he had a hard time to discipline the children as they would never listen to him and neither did he have it in him to scold them. But then Jimin came and he was the perfect blend of strict and sweet. The children adore him a lot but they're also very careful not to piss him off, as he can be very scary once provoked. So Jimin was the one who restored peace in his dance academy.
“ Honestly I like you so much too.”
He says as he looks into Jimin's eyes with a soft look. After all, how can anyone dislike Jimin? Only a person with poor taste would dislike him!“ Hyung, if someone heard you they'd think you're flirting with me.”
Jimin says as he pushes Hoseok's hand off his shoulders and frees himself from his grip. He grabs his little bag and starts to head out but Hoseok follows him behind.“ Why can't I? You're single after all.”
Jimin stops in his tracks when he hears Hoseok say that. Well, he himself said that he doesn't have a boyfriend anymore…“ I need to go now, remember to come on time.”
With that Jimin finally gets out of the building. Hoseok doesn't follow him anymore as he has another batch of children waiting for him.“ Yeah, I'll meet you at dinner time.”
He waved him bye and then went inside. As Jimin turns around to look at the building once again, his eyes find their way to the big neon sign reading - ‘hope on the street’. He still remembers how nervous he was the day he came here for the first time.
He was a bit afraid to follow his passion after so long, that too in a foreign country but when he met Hoseok, a fellow Korean he immediately felt at ease. He and Hoseok clicked instantly, thanks to Hoseok's friendly and bubbly nature.
