Twenty one~

Adrisha's pov~

The girl entered and all the attention was diverted from the couple to her. If asked, she was worth the attention. She was wearing a lavender chiffon saree. Her hazel eyes are similar to navya indicating that she's her sister. Her facial features were just like Navya. But her attitude was screaming something opposite. As navya is a complete sunshine girl. Her sister is the complete opposite, she was giving more like a dominant, bossy woman vibes. But being a businesswoman in a different continent away from your own family does make you a tough person.

I heard so many things about her from navya how her mother always wanted a son as their hier and when her sister took over their business she didn't like it. Their mother thought a girl can't handle business. How can she think something like that about her own daughter? While she is herself a woman.

Navya told me all these things made her sister cold and reserved. She decided to move to another country. I observed her moves. She went to the stage and congratulated the couple. Navya was looking so happy seeing her sister after years.

Then she met her dad and then the rest of the people. She walked to Vikrant Bhai and Advay. Vikrant Bhai hugged her happily but Advay didn't look at her. I observed it before also, whenever anyone would talk about her Advay always avoid that conversation.

She was awkward for a moment but then offered her hand for a formal handshake. This made me frown, when he didn't shake her hand with her. He took steady steps towards me and put his hand on my lower back. She walked to me and stood in front of me. She gave me a small smile which looked genuine to me.

“So you are the one who melted the iceberg.” she exclaimed with a tint of teasing in her tone while eyeing him but he didn't look at her. I smiled at her and introduced myself “Hi, I'm Adrisha– and felt a sting pain on my waist and realised he pinched me. I glared at him while he shrugged it casually. “Myself Adrisha Advay Singhania.” I repeated and felt him caressing the same spot which gave me a ticklish sensation.

“I know you are the one, Queen of the devil.” she said while I felt myself being giddy over the same sentence. This is what navya has told her. She always calls me “Queen of the devil” not like I don't want to be called it. I like it when he says I'm his queen and people know this fact.

She forwarded her hand and said “I'm Shreya bansal. Nice to meet you Adrisha.” I didn't forward my hand which made her small smile fall down. Instead I stepped forward and took her in a hug. I felt she was hesitant at first but gave in the hug later. We stood there for a minute like that and then departed from each other.

Then everyone went back to their place. Shreya was a little distant from everyone but I made sure she enjoyed every moment of her sister's engagement. I was busy with the guests when maa told me to bring the gift from her room. I was on my way when someone pulled me towards the backside of the garden.

I was about to scream when the person put the finger on my lips saying “shhh” and the similar cologne filled my nostrils making me realise that person is none other than my husband. I shooed his finger away from my lips and said “what is this behaviour pati dev?”. He gave me his infamous boyish grin. How adorable he looked. Nobody would believe the person who's known as the devil is such a lover boy.

“Woh kya hai na patni ji, when you're looking so gorgeous I can't keep my hands to myself.” He said and put his hands on my bare waist. He placed his face in the crook of my neck and started giving feathery kisses there.

“I want to devour your body right now.” he said I exhaled hard when he sucked my sweet spot. I hissed when he bit there lightly and licked it later to soothe the pain. I was pleased by his sweet torture but stopped myself from moaning knowing we are in the garden and someone might hear us.
