𝐊𝐘𝐀'𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐇𝐔𝐑𝐓, 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐘𝐔𝐄 𝐖𝐇𝐎 was trying to hold her up. Kya figured she'd taken a really good hit from Zuko, which she will make him pay for that don't worry. He had taken off with Aang and now all they could do was try to find him before it was too late.
Kya leaned heavily against Appa, her head pounding, though she tried not to show it. "I can't believe we lost him," Katara whispered, kneeling on the icy ground. Her voice cracked, her sorrow palpable.
Sokka exchanged a look with Yue before stepping closer to Katara. "You guys did everything you could," he said, his voice steady but firm. "Now we need to do everything we can to get him back."
Katara looked up at him, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. Sokka crouched beside her, his voice softening. "Zuko can't have gotten far. We'll find him. Aang's gonna be fine."
Kya's voice broke through the moment, low with guilt. "I shouldn't have turned my back."
Sokka glanced at her sharply. "Stop. Don't blame yourselves. Zuko isn't unbeatable. We'll catch him."
Katara sniffled and nodded, determination replacing despair. "Okay," she said, her voice stronger.
The group mounted Appa. Yue helped Kya into the saddle, concern etched on her face. Katara lingered for a moment, kneeling beside Momo. "It's all right. You stay here, Momo, in case Aang comes back."
With everyone aboard, Sokka said. "Yip-yip."
Appa bellowed and took off into the frigid sky. The blizzard raged around them, snow and wind whipping in every direction.
