Lecture Hall

Crowley stood proudly on the podium, his voice enthusiastic as ever. "First, allow me to bid you all a joyous holiday" He greeted the Halloween Committee with dramatic flair.

"Happy Halloween!" The students responded in unison, their excitement evident.

"With that out of the way," Crowley continued, "today is the last day of Halloween Week - to wit, Halloween. I told you previously that we would decide whether to hold a holiday get-together after assessing the situation this morning"

Vil nodded gracefully, "You did indeed, sir."

Crowley sighed, his tone shifting to one of mock seriousness. "To be entirely honest with you all... When we spoke yesterday, I had just about given up on the idea of holding a party this year. After all, even without one, there was bound to be a deluge of Magicam Monsters on Halloween proper. And that would be an unprecedented disaster for our school! In fact, I was seriously considering cutting the event short today. However..." He paused for a dramatic effect. "Surely you've had a look around campus this morning and noticed - the Magicam Monsters are nowhere to be found! A miracle this conveniently timed couldn't happen even with magic! What could have possibly brought this turn of events about?"

With his signature smile, Jade chimed in. "It came as a surprise to us as well, sir"

Cater grinned knowingly. "Yeah, no kidding! I wonder what changed?"

Trein's sharp eyes fixed on the boys. "Are you all certain you know nothing of this?"

Epel fidgeted under his gaze, stammering "I-I don't know nothin'-ah, I mean, anything"

Deuce chimed in, attempting to deflect. "We spent all yesterday practicing for Halloween-uh,, I mean, greeting visitors! If anything happened, we sure didn't see it. Isn't that right, Jack?"

Jack nodded firmly, "Absolutely! It's just as Deuce says, sensei!"

The students chuckled nervously, earning a skeptical look from Trein. "Heh heh heh..."

Trein raised an eyebrow, "I find your claims highly suspicious... But the fact remains that the Magicam Monsters are gone. Hence, we have no reason to call of the party"

"You mean...?" Vil's lips curled into a faint smile.

Crowley nodded, his theatrics returning in full force. "Oh, yes! The Halloween party today... is officially ON! Am I not the kindest event organizer in all of Twisted Wonderland?"

The students erupted into cheers. "YEEAAAH!"

Crewel crossed his arms, a small, amused smile tugging at his lips before it disappeared. "Hmph. Bunch of pups, running around yapping in excitement... QUIET! This is no time for celebration."

"What he said." Vargas added. "Now that the party's happening, none of us are gonna have a moment to relax"

Sam chuckled, his grin as wide as ever. "We're getting several times more visitors than usual this year. We'll have to scale up our preparations accordingly! The people of Sage's Island are very much looking forward to this. We owe it to them to make this a good Halloween"

Crowley clapped his hands. "Just so. I expect each of you to maintain your stamp tour stations up until closing time... and in addition, split p and get to work preparing for the party!"

"Yes, sir!" The students replied in unison as the meeting concluded. They began dispersing to their assigned tasks.

As they left, Deuce turned to Cater. "Cater-senpai? I'm about to go on shift at the stamp tour station. Would you mind hitting up Ramshackle Dorm and telling (y/n) and Grim about the party for me?"
