It was a cozy evening in the dorm, with the entire group gathered together for a movie marathon. Blankets were strewn across the floor, snacks were piled high on the coffee table, and everyone was lounging comfortably, ready to settle in for the night. The room was filled with the flickering light from the TV screen, casting shadows on the walls as the group watched a series of horror films. Laughter and light teasing filled the air as they prepared for the next scare, though one thing was certain: no one was quite prepared for Sunoo's unexpected outburst.

Heeseung, Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, and Niki had all gathered for a long-overdue movie night, each of them curling up in various corners of the living room. Sunoo, who had been feeling more relaxed lately, was sitting in the middle of the couch, surrounded by plushies—his usual companions. He had his legs tucked beneath him, his favorite blanket draped over his lap, and he seemed to be happily settled in for the night. The movie, a particularly eerie one, had just started, and the tension in the room was palpable.

Jay, who was seated beside Sunoo, had already buried his face in a pillow, not trusting himself to look at the TV. He was never one for horror films, especially when the scares were as intense as this one. The rest of the group, including Heeseung, Jungwon, and Jake, were doing their best to stay focused, but everyone knew that the real star of the night—at least, in terms of reaction—was Sunoo.

The movie was building to a particularly suspenseful moment. The protagonist was slowly creeping through a dark hallway, and the ominous music in the background had the entire room on edge. Jay was practically hiding beneath the pillow, his eyes peeking through the fabric as if trying to gauge whether it was safe to look up.

But then—it happened.

Out of nowhere, Sunoo’s voice rang through the room, completely at odds with the tension of the movie. His voice was high-pitched and childlike, and it cut through the fear in the air like a sharp knife.

“It’s good! It’s fun!” Sunoo exclaimed, his face lighting up with excitement as he looked around the room, completely unbothered by the unsettling scenes playing on the screen. “I like it!”

The room froze.

The whole group turned to look at Sunoo, their eyes wide with a mix of surprise and confusion. There he was, in the middle of a horror movie, sitting amid his pile of plushies, completely oblivious to the eerie atmosphere on screen. His innocent declaration hung in the air, and the contrast between Sunoo’s childlike joy and the horror movie's tense scenes was almost comical.

Sunghoon and Niki, who had quietly joined the group, exchanged a knowing glance. They had seen glimpses of Sunoo’s little space before—when the plushies had piled up, when he’d giggled or been wrapped in a cocoon of softness—but they had never witnessed him fully in his little space during a movie night. It was both adorable and confusing at the same time.

"Wait, what?" Sunghoon muttered under his breath, his expression flickering with amusement as he looked between the TV and Sunoo. “Didn’t he just—”

“Yeah,” Niki cut in, his lips curving into a grin. "That was Sunoo, alright."

Jay, still clutching the pillow in front of his face, glanced over at Heeseung, Jungwon, and Jake, his expression one of disbelief. "Did he... just say that?"

Heeseung blinked a few times, trying to process what had just happened. He shot a glance over to Jungwon and Jake, who were equally stunned.

"Is he... is he enjoying this?" Jungwon asked, his voice low, still not quite believing the sight unfolding before them.

Jake, who had been watching Sunoo with an amused look, couldn't help but chuckle at how Sunoo was entirely unaffected by the creepy imagery unfolding on the screen. "I think he’s in his little space," he said with a knowing smile, finally breaking the tension. "I’ve seen this before. He’s all giggles and joy in these moments."
