mina got ready for her birthday party, one that aryan plannned. she didn't know much about it except that her friends are coming.
sabrina was also in her room while she was getting ready. mina was scavenging through her closet, looking for something cute yet casual.
"ooh wear that one!" she said, pointing out a black dress with sparkles on it. mina looked towards her dumb-founded.
"that's so not casual, brina." mina says. sabrina widened her eyes. she crossed her arms before defending herself.
"mina it's literally your birthday. you don't need to be casual!" sabrina said, leaning back on minas bed with ease.
before mina could even say a word, sabrina immediately cut her off. "stop overthinking it and just try on the dress!"
mina groaned before going to her bathroom to quickly change into it. throughout the way, her hair got stuck in the zipper, and it got harder to put on, but she successfully did it.
she opened the bathroom door to show sabrina, leaning on the doorframe. "jesus this is like the type of stuff you wear." mina said before standing up and doing a 360.
"it looks so good on you!" sabrina exclaimed happily. mina put on a strained smile. "aryan better be happy to see you in that or i'll literally kill him."
those words made mina soften up a little bit, chuckling. "sure, sure." mina said sarcastically with a playful roll of her eyes.
they got interrupted with a knock on the door. mina fidgeted with her hands, before sabrina took one of them to drag her to the door.
as they opened it they saw aryan in his green sweater. couldn't have been more simple. "we are ready." aryan says with a grin, putting out his hand for mina to take.
soon enough, mina took his hand into hers. "oh we're ready, hm?" mina teases for no reason. aryan brought her hand up to his lips and gave it a peck. in a sweet way, obviously.
sabrina watched the two back and forth. "okay.. so let's get going to see what it is!" she said trying not to be the third wheel in the situation, which didn't work.
mina laughed and began walking in her dress. they walked into the living room seeing all of her long distance friends. "happy birthday!" they all exclaimed with little laughs at the end.
the birthday girl immediately went to hug mckenna when she saw her. "how'd you even-" mckenna cut her off.
"no questions!" mckenna said before pulling away from the hug. mina laughed and nodded. she went to go hug every single one of her friends that showed up.
"god i love you guys." mina said to the small group of friends. aryan watched from afar with a small smile, glad to see her happy.
"thank aryan!" momona peaked up from the side of shay, another actor from the babysitters club. shay tilted her head towards mina silently begging her to.
"ugh fine." she says sarcastically before turning around. "thank you aryan!" she said cheerfully. mina blew him a kiss before going on with her friends.
aryan continued to watch her. sabrina put her arm on his shoulder, leaning against him. "you're down bad, dude." sabrina says, slightly scrunching up her nose.
aryan looked down at sabrina and shrugged her arm off his shoulder with a shy smile. "shut up!" he said with the smile still on his face.
sabrina hummed before walking away to go to mina and her group of friends.
