The deeper the cut
The more it bleeds.
The harder I press
the more I succeed.
The cut will burn
but it won't for long.
The more I cut
the less I hear this song.
I scream as I cut
but the pain eventually fades.
And tomorrow will begin a new day.
Another cut.
This one will be deeper.
But I'll be immune.
The hurt will be bearable.
Because the deeper the cuts
the more pain I release.
