I found myself in the same room where I fell asleep. It was slightly dark yet peaceful. The only thing that emitted a source of light was the town's street lamps shining through the balcony doors.

Kai was fast asleep beside me. His back facing me and he held a rather large pillow within his arms.

He looked like a baby cuddling with his favorite stuffed teddy bear.

His bare muscles faintly gleamed in the dim city lights shining through the glass doors.

God I love him. He looks dark and sexy from afar but flirty and mischievous close up.

I missed the times when we were young. Nothing to worry about of course. Everything was peaceful and lovely.

I caught myself drifting off into sad and cruel thoughts of my past. I decided to get some fresh air.

Quietly, I slowly pulled the covers off my body and slid out the bed. My feet touched the cold hardwood floors sending a tingle through my body. As fast as it came, it disappeared when I started walking towards the glass doors.

I flipped the switch that enabled it to slide open. I pulled the door open and a blast of cool air caressed my bare skin. It felt so relaxing to take in the refreshing oxygen.

Mystic Falls gave off the impression of an ordinary town. It looked beautiful although it's old. Of course it was my first time being here. I feel like one of those tourists that wondered into an unknown small town.

"I'm glad I'm back," I whispered.

"You should be," a voice spoke as a pair of arms wrapped around my waist.

"Hey," I brought up his hand and placed a sweet kiss.

Kai buried his face into my neck as his hold on my got tighter, "I didn't scare you?" His hot breath brushed against my skin.

"Not really," I said while closing my eyes, taking in this moment.

I felt his hand crawling towards mine. He held it for some time and something cold slid down my finger.

Kai lifted my hand and faintly whispered a spell in what sounded like Latin. My hand twitched making my eyes open slowly, wondering what he did.

I brought my hand up so I could see what was on my finger. A ring. A ring with a design that resembled a flower.

"You brought it back," I gasped as tears started flowing down my checks one by one.

"Yeah. It took forever to find it," Kai laid his head on my shoulder, still hugging me from behind.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

While we held our position, only our heads turned to face each other to give a kiss like no other.
