"How's not smoking going for you?"
I groaned. "It sucks. I have headaches all the time. How's it going for you?"
"I feel the same. I get nauseated a lot."
"But it's worth it, right?"
"I think so," he paused, "Why did you quit?"
"Because you inspired me."
"For real?" He gave me a wide-eyed look.
"No, I was kidding. I just don't want to die early."
