--NEXT DAY--
I walked into the library for my free period and got out some notes to go over before the science test next period. I felt the chair beside me squeak. I turned around to see my new friend Ashton and someone I didn't recognize, sit down. "Hey man." Ashton said as he took a library book out of his bag, "This is Michael." I smile and he does the same. "Can he join us while we study? I said you can help him because you are really good at science junk." I looked at Michael. He looked completely blank. "Sure" I got out my notes.

We just finished studying and I gathered up all my stuff. "Shit" Ashton whispered. "What?" Michael asked, "I left my phone in Math, damn, I'll be back hold on." Ashton got up and ran leaving Michael and I alone. I started to walk out but I felt a grip on my arm. I saw Michael standing there. "Wait."
"Um okay?" He paused, "Are you the new trans boy everyone is talking about?"
