Sam: Six weeks since I've been away, and now you're saying everything has changed, and I'm afraid that I might be losing you. You were an actress, and you had been offered a big role in the new Disney movie, Descendants, as Mal (But for real Dove Cameron) and you had accepted it. You hadn't seen Sam in six weeks. He was hardly accepting your phone calls. He was too busy, and when he wasn't busy, you were on set, and you could pick up.
You finally got him to answer the phone, but he seemed rushed.
"Hey, Sam." You said.
"Hey, look I can't talk right now." He answered. You frowned, and your co-stars stared skeptically. You were always smiling. "I'm sorry but I'm dealing with something."
"What's going on?" You asked.
"You would know if you actually stayed." He snapped.
"Sam, this is my career, and it was way before I met you. I'm not gonna throw away what I've worked for my entire life just because 'my boyfriend told me to.'" You tried to stay calm as he answered.
"Look. I don't have time for this. I have things to deal with, and I'm sure you're working anway." He said. Your mouth fell open.
"You know what," You exclaimed, "Yes, I am working. But I still tried to talk to you because I hadn't in a while. We haven't had a real conversation in a month, Sam. I've tried so hard to make time for you, and you're not giving me the same. Maybe this was a bad idea."
"What are you saying, Y/N?" He paused.
"Bye, Sam." You sighed sadly, hanging up the phone. Your co-stars surrounded you with apologies and hugs. You smiled and said thank you, only to have the director come into the room and rush you out. You tossed your phone in your bag on the way, forgetting about Sam for the moment. Your job was here, not there.
Seth: Every night that we spend alone, it kills me thinking of you on your own. And I wish I was back home, next to you. You were a dancer, and a very popular one. You were actually in Washington for a music video when you met Seth, and you decided to stick around for a while. But you had to go back to your career eventually. So when you got the call that a new K-pop band, Seventeen, wanted you in their video, you had to accept. Seth was upset, but he understood. So he let you go.
You had been in rehearsals with Seventeen all day, and you were excited to be able to go back to the hotel and sleep. After signing autographs for some waiting fans, you made your way up to your room and fell back on the bed. You couldn't call Seth because of the timezone difference. You knew he was probably still sleeping, and it killed you to think he was there without you. You loved him. But you had to be here for about a month, and you hated having to put him through this for so long.
What you didn't know is that he was wide awake. Thinking the same thing you were. And although you had been emailing instead, what he always left out was that he hadn't slept at all since the day you left.
