Lowtown was still for once, and eerily quiet. It was late at night, and the moon was high in the sky.. Suddenly, the door of Gamlen's house creaked open to reveal Marian Hawke.

She stalked down the stairs with feather-light steps and headed towards the Hanged Man. She was careful to stick to the shadows incase any raiders were near. She'd just left a fight, and she didn't fancy getting into another one. When Hawke entered the tavern it was a lot more lively, and she let out a sigh of relief. She made her way back to Isabela's room and knocked on the door before entering. Isabela looked sleepily at Hawke from her bed, confusion in her eyes.

"What are you doing here, sweet thing?" Isabela asked, yawning. Hawke sighed, leaning against the door.

"I had a fight with Mother and I was thinking you wouldn't mind sharing your bed for a night." she replied. Isabela's expression softened, and she held the blanket out of the way so Hawke could slip in beside her.

"Thanks, 'Bela." Hawke said. Isabela nodded.

"Any time, Hawke."
