Standing at the crossroads of life,
I think of possibilities.
I wish I had met you
Few years earlier or few years later.
Time has weaved its threads tight, whip-lashing us cruelly.
Where would we be now –
if we were not together?
I wonder how life would be without you.
I think of possibilities.
Never before was I so hurt
And so much in love.
Never have I tasted water so salty.
Whether I would be more sad
Or more happy, I will never know.
Standing at the crossroads of life,
I will now hold your hand
And close my eyes in faith.
