Mates are soul mates. Your other perfect half. Through all the flaws you still love each other. You find your mate by smell. The most beautiful scent ever to you. By touch, when you touch them you feel sparks. Your wolf is howling to be near them. You can accept or reject your mate. If you accept that means you have given yourself to your mate and no one else. Mates can get a bit jealous when their mate is being touched. Or you can reject. You reject your mate by not accepting him(in this cause I am going to say him but its for both genders) you can move on in life to another man but you will never feel the same love for him as you felt for your mate.
