BOING!

BOING!

BOING!

I bounced three times on the trampoline before I managed to stabilize myself. I breathe out in relief as I landed safe.

"I told you, you should had kept your wires." Haru, who set up the trampoline said.

I looked to him with his arms crossed while giving me a proud face.

"Yeah yeah, thank you so much for saving me." I hugged him then looked up the building.

If it wasn't for Haru, I would have died already. Without wasting anymore time, I ran just outside where my son is having his operation. I could only pray that Chishiya had managed to give the antidote in time to save my son.

As for Chelsea, the gun I used had a syringe of my own crafted poison. The poison that was injected in her would make her feel excruciating pain to the point where she wished that she would've just died already.

An eye for an eye, a poison for a poison

Seconds felt like minutes, minutes felt like hours, waiting for the news if my son had made it. Haru joined me and assured me that everything is going to be fine but I'm still a mother worrying for her child.

"He'll be fine, he's strong like his ex-assassin mother." Haru said and I sighed.

"I just hope so."

Soon, Chishiya came out of the operating room and gave me a smile. Without him needing to tell me the result, I ran into him and hugged him.

"Thank you." I told him then shot my eyes open when I remembered what Chelsea said earlier.

Chishiya is the father of my child...

"By the way-" I was stopped when Chishiya suddenly pulled me into a kiss.

I was shocked at first but soon melted and returned the kiss. I don't know if this goes against his code of not kissing while working but right now, nothing else matters. It was as if I was suddenly completed.

"I'm glad you're safe. Knowing Chelsea, I thought you would had gotten hurt." Chishiya said as he leaned his forehead into mine.

"Chishiya, I have to tell you something." I said and he gave me a sad smile.

"S/n is my son, I don't know how but Chelsea sent me the DNA earlier. I'm sorry if I accidentally got drunk in the bar or something but-" This time, I pulled Chishiya in a kiss.

I don't care whether or not he raped me or something, I'm pretty sure any girls who gets banged by Chishiya wouldn't mind as he is almost every girl's type. What's important for me now is my son is alive and I feel complete.

"Do I really need to wear this?" Haru asked for the hundredth times already while adjusting his tie.

"Stop complaining, you look good anyway." I answered and he playfully rolled his eyes.

"Whatever, I just don't get why people need to wear tuxedo or long gowns when they have their weddings. Why can't they just wear casual clothes or something comfortable? Tuxedo is not my style."

"For the record, this seems to suit you more than being an assassin."

Haru gave me a half smile before shrugging.

"You look beautiful too sis, I'm glad you're marrying someone like Chishiya."

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"

"It's good, I could see that he really cares for you and loves you genuinely. If he ever hurts you, the Joker will get him."

"Yeah yeah yeah, thanks for walking me down the aisle. I'm glad I have a brother like you."

"Let's go shall we? Don't wanna be late for your wedding."

And so the day had come when me and Chishiya married each other. After the incident with Chelsea, me and Chishiya had gotten closer with each other. Chelsea on the other hand became more delusional telling the police that I had poisoned her, which I did but they never had the proof.

She was sent to the mental hospital, and I would sometimes visit her to remind her that I am happy with my life, my son is alive, her plan to ruin my life didn't work and most of all, Chishiya is mine.

I am glad that I've turned my back into being an assassin and focused on my son, otherwise our life might be in danger. I may have a mask during my time as the Shadow but one could never be too careful.

Anyways, back to the wedding. As the door opened, I saw Chishiya at the other end, tears were falling from his eyes but he wiped it away. I also started crying, not believing that I will be married to one of the most amazing man in the whole world.

Nothing could be more perfect than this. We said our vows, for better or for worse, then came the kiss the bride.

We kissed passionately in front of hundreds of people. It was the most magical moment for me to be wearing the gown of my dream, marrying the man of my dream and is carrying another one of his child.

I wouldn't trade this for anything else in the world.
