Chapter XVII

There are a total of 14 participants the game will now commence

Difficulty, Five of spades

Game, A game of Tag

Rule.
Run away from the tagger.

Clear condition.
Discover the safe zone hidden in one of the building rooms within the time limit.

You clear the game when this objective is fulfilled.

Time limit, 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes have passed, the time bomb hidden in the building will explode.

Not waiting for anything else Chishiya and Y/n began to separate with the group of people, while the two of them search for a place to keep a look out,

It took a few stairs before they finally stop at the edge of the building.

"Waiting is so boring." Y/n complained at the male but he simply ignored her like always,

Y/n peek seeing other players walk around aimlessly, her attention went to looking at the building doors, she then had spotted Aguni. She gave him a small wave and once again he only nodded acknowledging her.

Chishiya smiled also waving at the frowning militant, yet Aguni simply ignore him.

A small laughter escape from Y/n's mouth, "I guess he doesn't like you." He chuckled, "Guess, he likes you."

"Yeah, I did save him from our last game." Y/n boasted feeling proud of herself.

To pass time Y/n and Chishiya keep talking to each other, well mostly the h/c was the one talking and Chishiya sometimes was answering, but she didn't mind though, it's better than him ignoring her.

"Everyone! The tagger is currently at the second level of the central area!" Someone shouted, "The tagger has bad vision because of his mask!" Y/n stood up out of curiosity to search for the tagger and their it was wearing a horse face mask she let out a giggle of how bizarre it was.

"Let's inform each other of the tagger's location! And search for the safe zone together!" The player continued,

"Wow he's smart." Y/n said, Chishiya agreed, saying it's a good idea. "But no one will respond." Chishiya added. "You can't be too sure." Opposing on what he just said she rolled her eyes at the blonde. He raise his left brow at her,

"The tagger is moving from the fourth level of the central area! Anyone nearby run!" A female voice was heard. Y/n turn at Chishiya smiling at him sweetly, like saying 'told ya'.

Soon gun shots were heard, she could see a female player jumping from floor to floor.

"Woah." She gasped in admiration, if only she was athletic,

Eight minutes before the game ends

There are currently 8 survivors

"Come, Y/n,  let's go." Chishiya commanded and began walking, "Kay." She responded tailing behind him, Y/n knew he would easily find the safe zone,

When they arrived at the door on one of the building's room someone was already there, "So you realized that too?" Chishiya stated. "Yes, the safe zone is in this apartment." The boy replied referring to the door in front of them three.

"Oh! He was the guy that was shouting earlier!" Y/n exclaimed to Chishiya as if the male wasn't in front of them.

The raven haired ignored her statement and put his hand on the door knob hesitating to open it. "Aren't you gonna open it?" Chishiya ask, the boy look at Chishiya then Y/n. "Why did the tagger chase us? They could've waited here?" The male questioned as if he's also asking his self.

"Seems like there's something we don't know too. But it seems we have no choice." Showing his phone to the male, "If you don't open it.." Chishiya didn't bother  finishing his sentence.

The male player nodded, twisting the door knob, the three went inside the dim room. They look around but their little investigation was cut off when the male yell. "Look out!"

He pushed the duo off the way. In an instant Chishiya pulled his taser out and tased the tagger. The tagger fell on the ground, the three walk towards the body staring down at it, looking at Chishiya's taser that he's holding so proudly, "Well it never hurts to prepar—" He wasn't able to finish his sentence because the tagger suddenly pulled the trigger of the gun it's holding, almost hitting the three players.

Chishiya grabbed Y/n, pulling her outside before closing the door, "Ah, what the fuck." The h/c breathed out putting her hands on her head, "It's impossible to clear the game alone! We need two people!" The guy inside the safe zone shouted,

"Seriously." Chishiya, still holding the door knob, hearing ruckus inside. "You gotta be shitting me." Y/n cursed,

The two cautiously entered the room. Seeing the player was now fighting the tagger, because of the fight the the tagger almost shot the two who just enter the room, luckily they dodged just in time.

Y/n saw a opportunity to tase the tagger since it has let it's guard down. She ran towards the tagger shouting to Chishiya to give her his taser, without hesitation Chishiya threw his taser at Y/n.

Luckily she had caught the device, kicking the tagger's other ankle before tasing on it's other. The climber girl who've just entered the room through the window, began to ran and press the button.

In cue the other male player quickly stood up and also ran towards it. Both of them pressing the red button just in time.

Game cleared

Congratulations!

Y/n only lay on the floor exhausted and relieved that it was finally over. When the tagger moved Chishiya grab her to keep their distance with the tagger.

There was beeping sound coming from the tagger, in panic the tagger revealed it's face and it was a woman with a metallic bracelet on her neck. She looks at the players in horror, then her neck exploded blood splatter on the wall.

The other players with Y/n and Chishiya in the room who've just witnessed the tagger's death looks in disbelief, the male immediately walk out feeling nausea.

Following behind the male the other player headed out too leaving the two in the room. Chishiya without a care on what just happened started investigating the room, he kneeled in front of the tagger and search her. Finding a piece of paper with drawing on it.

"What is it?" Y/n ask him, "I don't know."
