callie let out a soft whine. "why did we have to be roomed with the stoners?"

she whispered in mikey's ear, who simply shrugged and threw her suitcase on the bottom bunk.

"how bad can it be?" she said to callie when the other roommates were out of earshot. the tan girl surveyed the other girls' half of the room, which already had clothes and whatnot strewn around it, though all have them had just arrived. she rolled her eyes with a knowing smile and laid her bag next to mikey's.

the other girls finally noticed the presence of the two and perked up.

"hey there. you must be our roomies for the trip." a girl in a bob marley hoodie and glasses said weakly. "I'm kaya, this is libby."

the other girl gave a small smile and looked mikey & callie up and down.

"didn't know we were gonna be with the lesbians. that's cool." libby stated. callie blushed fiercely.

"I'm not- we aren- um, what?" she stumbled over her words as mikey watched.

"- we aren't like, dating or whatever,
just friends." mikey took over the situation, much to callie's relief. libby chuckled.

"okay, chill out. doesn't bother me." she mumbled and went onto her phone.

there was a sudden knock at the door that callie was hoping to be ashleigh or lucille. she opened the door to see a heavily pierced girl with a wide grin. the girl pushed past her and jumped onto libby & kaya's bunk.

"hey hey hey! I'm all alone with some weirdos and I didn't want to make small talk, so here I am." she beamed.

kaya opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted by a voice outside their door.

"okay, ladies! time for the retreat- beginning hike!" the gym coach hollered. every girl in the room groaned.

a hike, a lunch and a lesson later, all 4 girls stumbled back into their rooms.

"never. again." mikey huffed. "hate. fucking. nature."

"dude, the hike was like 4 hours ago." callie smirked. the pale girl turned so her back was facing her.

libby and kaya exchanged a look as the girl from earlier entered their room again, holding a backpack. "emilie, not now..."

emilie chucked the backpack onto libby's lap. "loosen up, guys. they won't mind if you don't make them."

mikey and callie grew confused.

"I.. um.. I don't know how to put this.." kaya grinned. "we wanted to get stoned? you know, because we're stoners and all."

her eyes met callie's and the girl's cheeks burned. "s-sorry-" she began.

"we don't mind. can we stay?" mikey asked firmly, as if she had no worries about what may pursue.

the three girl's mouthes broke into large grins.

so, fifteen minutes later, emilie, kaya, libby, mikey and callie were high as kites. kaya sat in the middle of the room, inhaling smoke from the bong, while libby and emilie were sitting on their bunk throwing chips into each other's mouthes.
