Chapter 16

(Y/n)'s POV

After that we got Ashley, we were about to leave before we heard our communicators go off.  Me and Leon answered our communicators before we were talking to Ada, "Ada, come in. There's a lab where we can remove the parasites. Had a crazy hunch that you'd know where it is." Leon said to Ada.  Ada was quiet until she spoke, "Their most important facilities are housed in their sanctuary at the top of the mountain. That's where I'd look." Ada said to us.  I just told Ada, while I was still holding Danny in my arms, "Thank you, Ada." I said to Ada.  Leon just chuckles at this before he speaks out, "Huh. Ada the encyclopedia." Leon said to Ada.  I just lightly elbow Leon's arm, before Ada speaks, "Happy to help. Now you both owe me." Ada said to us.

The call ended before we were walking a bit before we noticed the doors were closed before Leon gets down so he can boost Ashley up, "You got it?" Leon asks Ashley.  Ashley just tells Leon, "Pfft, duh!" Ashley says to Leon.  I just chuckled at Leon before we saw Ashley unlock the doors.  Ashley opens the doors before she tells us, "I'm pretty much a master of unlocking!" Ashley said to us.  I just snorted at this before I looked at Ashley before telling her, "I need you to do us a favor." I said to Ashley.  Ashley looks at me before she asks me, "What is it?" Ashley asks me.  I passed Danny to Ashley's arms, "I need somebody to hold Danny, while me and Leon are fighting." I said to Ashley.  Ashley holds Danny in her arms before I fix her hands, "Make sure you leave your hand on Danny's head to support his head." I said to Ashley.

Ashley listens before she supports Danny's head, "Thank you." I said to Ashley.  Danny starts crying.  I'm guessing that Danny knows that it's not me or Leon that are holding him, "What do I do?" Ashley asks me.  I just told her, "Rock your arms gently." I said to Ashley.  Ashley listened and Danny was starting to get quiet.

We were walking towards the doors before me and Leon before we saw the lift that was up, "We need to get there." I said to Leon and Ashley.  Leon nods his head before we start running upstairs.  We noticed a way down before me and Leon got down before I looked at Ashley before telling her, "You stay there with Danny. Me and Leon will check if there are those plaga people." I said to Ashley.  Ashley nods her head before she rocks gently with Danny in her arms, "Okay." Ashley said to me.  Leon looks around before he puts his finger on his lips to let me know to be quiet because we heard those people talking before we start sneaking up on the enemies before I stab the guy in the head before Leon does the same thing before we noticed it was quiet for now.

I ran back to get Ashley before telling her, "It's clear now." I said to Ashley.  Leon was next to me before he told Ashley, "Don't worry, I can catch you with Danny in your arms." Leon said to Ashley.  Ashley jumps down before Leon catches Ashley while she still has Danny in her arms.  Leon puts Ashley down before we start walking before she asks us, "Are you two alright?" Ashley asks us.  Leon tells Ashley, "Yeah, no big deal." Leon said to Ashley.  I looked at Ashley before telling her, "Same here." I said to Ashley.  We heard Danny making those cooing noises again before I gave Danny a kiss on his forehead, "He looks so calm for a newborn." I said to the others.  Ashley just smiles at this before she speaks out, "Yeah, I can tell that you and Leon make good parents." Ashley said to us.  I just give Ashley a soft smile on my face before telling her, "Thank you, Ashley." I said to Ashley.

Leon rubs Danny's face with his finger before we went towards the door and we were in some kind of room.  Not to our surprise we see more of those plaga guys again, "Why can't they pick someone else?" I asked myself before I looked at Ashley before telling her, "Go upstairs and stay up till me and Leon are done!" I yelled out to Ashley.  Ashley nods her head before she runs with Danny in her arms.  It was quiet until we saw the door was lifted up.  Me and Leon look up to see Ashley holding the lever with one hand while holding Danny in her other arm, "Go ahead!" Ashley yells out to us.  Me and Leon took off running before we could unlock the door, we hear Ashley screaming out of fear, "Ashley!" Me and Leon yelled out in shock before I unlocked the door to see Ashley getting carried away while one of the guys was trying to kill Danny.
